Did any one catch Mike Martz mic'd up at the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl on Saturday? His quarterback had bailed under pressure on third down and was sacked. The conversation went something like this:

Martz - Why did you run on third down?
QB - I had pressure coming in from the right.
Martz - How did you know there was pressure coming from the right?
QB - I saw the guy.
Martz - Why were you looking to the right? Your eyes are supposed to be down field.

I love this guy. And I miss him.

Yep! He is more than a great play designer and caller, He is a great coach.
No coincidence that the Rams went into the toilet after they fired him and let the lawyers take over.
