But I wanted to play them with a 100% healthy team with all their ring of honor players in their peak so the media can still say we haven’t beaten anybody and we didn’t deserve the win.

article. This is what gets me. Does a big toe injury require a boot? Its’ not like his leg was mangled or broken. I think this is a bait article. Big toe injury? Ha Did he kick his bed post in the early morning waking up to take a leak? Not buying it. This article is not reliable. He will play.

Especially for a big man, a big toe injury can be very hard to rehab quickly as it's a joint and you can't rehab it the same as a larger joint. Moreover, the normal bit of putting weight on it only makes it worse. THAT is compounded by the fact that walking on one's heal in a walking boot that feels like a ski boot is super uncomfortable and stresses other muscles and joints in awkward ways means that he really is out 4 weeks or longer.

There have been guys who had better times playing on a badly sprained ankle (low ankle sprain) than a big toe injury. You may not realize how much of one's balance is entirely reliant on the big toe.

On a steep pivot, a bigger player could easily put more than 500 lbs on that joint, so once it's injured, whether surgery is required or not, it has to rest.

Davenport really is going to be out a month, maybe more, although with him being so young, he should respond quickly to rehab.

I never cheer for an injury to occur to any player, but since he's already injured, I say YEAH. GO RAMS.

Have to take advantage of his absence. Goff gets a split second more time for big yards and TDs.
