Man, that's an ungodly amount of pressures by Long. Thankfully he's starting to put together the sacks to go with them so that we can finally be rid of all those "Long is a bust" threads due to his "only" having X amount of sacks. Sure woulda been nice for him to notch his 12th last week instead of having it negated due to a penalty too.

And when Quinn becomes a full-fledged starter....... whew. Look out. I was wondering - like everyone else - why Quinn wasn't just thrown in there and starting, but individual failures on his part are getting pointed out the more often he plays. He simply isn't entirely ready, but if this is his not being ready, I sure can't wait until he is.

Rams are one of 4 teams with two players in the top 25, pretty good. Especially since Quinn is still getting worked in.

Man when he full develops he is going to be a monster in the NFL. Especially when we upgrade DT.

No reason to throw him in when we have James Hall still. Work him in slowly, use the depth to our advantage. :ww:

The two men with the most QB disruptions in the NFL, Chris Long and Cameron Wake, join Dunlap, Miller and Trent Cole in a Top 5 short of the established names that have become synonymous with this list. Players like last years’ leader Tamba Hali (20th) and the man with the best rating between 2008 and 2010 John Abraham (12th) aren’t far off the pace, but they’re having to contend with a new class of rushers looking to make an impact. That includes plenty of rookies featuring in the Top 25, with Miller joined by the excellent Aldon Smith (10th), relentless Ryan Kerrigan (18th), and often-overlooked Robert Quinn (21st).

Not bad for a part-time player.

Not bad at all.

Wow. Thats awesome. Only thing that sucks is knowing that we have rarely had decent leads on opponents so they can unleash on the QB.

This article does point out how important it would be to have a great DT presence. Look at San Fransisco having two top interior linemen. If we just had one to go along with Long and Quinn, it makes everybody else in our defense (already solid) even better.
