I listened to locked on Rams daily since last year. Definitely having withdrawals!! But yeah he didn’t just up and quit. I follow him (sosa)on twitter and he talked about leaving a few weeks in advance and even a few shows ahead of his final one, he mentioned it a few times. Don’t like the timing but I’m sure he couldn’t just tell his new job to wait out a month. I saw a post from one of the guys from locked on asking people to apply for the position about a week ago. Hoping they get the new host in there before the season is over!
Then you heard what I didn't. I really don't know how I couldn't have heard it because I've listened to almost every show this year. If he said it on twitter, that could be it, because I don't follow him there. As for finishing the season, you just tell your new employer that you can't leave your old job until it's complete. He left for a fantasy football job, which, is that even a thing this part of the season? I don't know because that's not very important to me, but, whatever.
If they get a new host, I may listen to it again, but then maybe not. Whether it's the Locked On Network's fault or Sosa's, the ball was dropped at the most important part of the season...

I don't know man. Don't really listen to this guy. Maybe I'm just an asshole but I find it hard to listen to products intended for more casual fans. I've tried a few times to listen to him, but there isn't a whole lot of insight.

The media types I tune into are the ones who offer tips and information from the team. Jourdan is the best at that right now. Vinny was the guy for it before she came online. Or the guys like Eisen who get the people they interview to relax and show you something different.

This guy is like so many of the dudes you see out there now putting out vids that don't really offer much. That last podcast before the game he went on and on (just listened to it to see if I was being a prick here) about how whether Lamar goes is the big deal. The guy was hurt so with our rush you knew they weren't going to play him. Roman needs mobility at the QB position, edge threat and run threat, to make his offense go. Lamar is not a great thrower of the football. He's got a strong arm, but his threat is tied to his legs so there was no reason to play him vs this front when he didn't have mobility.

I'm hoping they hire Bubba. I would actually tune in to listen to Bubba get drunk and talk shit. :laugh1:

I actually don't think the "Locked On" is for casual fans and that's why it was so disappointing.

It's daily... only pretty hardcore fans are going to listen daily, you know?

But, otherwise, I'm very much with you on the type of media talent I appreciate.

I do think a very good podcast could be cultivated from this board. Get one host and rotate through contributors co-hosting and chiming in.

I think you'd come up with something more entertaining and insightful than any of the Rams pods out there right now, except for 11.

I'm not going to hate on a man for taking a better job for himself, it's up to the people who put up the podcast to get a replacement host, not for the host to put off a career move to cover their bosses ass.

If they're having issues then the pay probably isn't worth the time investment or they're not trying very hard. Either way it's on them.

Yeah I got rid of Sirius, the coverage out here where I live now is terrible. But their NFL lineup was fantastic. Best thing about the service IMO.

Used to listen to Kirwan's show when I'd drive home end of the week to Vegas. I don't like the guy (Carroll/Seattle homer) but he offers some unique insight with his GM background and connections around the league.

Thought this was pretty cool of KD. He did this for a couple guys I follow on twitter.

I think if I’m remembering right the first time he talked about it was an episode with Brad, the week before his last week. Then again that Monday episode. Definitely agree the timing is pretty terrible. Hopefully the new host is good, just wondering how long they will leave the position open.

I feel like doing a podcast could be fun, but a news-based one seems kind of boring tbh.

I just watch Between the Horns and Jake. And maybe a few other talking heads after a Rams win.

Only time I do sports radio is to and from work (15 min each way), so it's Colin in the mornings and in the afternoons 2 other guys, can't remember their names but one guy sounds like a stoner.

First time listening to LOR after Sosa left.. I couldnt stand Sosas lifeless delivery. Rodgers is killing it so far, hope he stays.

Rodgers is legit. I listen to his local show cause he covers the team well and has a good pulse on it. His podcasts have been solid since.
