Snead is a bit more informative on the WR position. Talks about the fact that adding a good WR to the existing guys is a good thing.

Says some nice things about Quinn and Sam.

It was GM talk even though LS is more candid than most I am drawing no conclusion.
I think you could bring up any position to Les and walk away thinking Hmm he is not sounding like he is going to address that position with a high pick.

The problem is that you could substitute the word "receiver" in that (rather rambling and ungainly) sentence with any other position.

true but you can't apply this to the receiver position:
"you don't draft just because of an injury"

Fair enough. However, if a player has an extensive history of injuries some insurance may be prudent.

That is a great point.

When Snead said they don't draft just because of an injury, Farr just helped Snead by saying that Long is still young. He should have said but what about when the injured player has a long injury history.

I guess that's what happens when the radio station depends on the Rams to get paid.
