I think it will be Kyren Williams. He's got good not elite speed at 4.54 but he has excellent agility and most of all outstanding field vision (an absolute must for a returner).

Xavier Smith is on the PS as an emergency replacement.

I think by December, Evans will be playing as #2 RB so Williams' impact will be as a return specialist and as a 3rd down back catching passes from Stafford.

It would be nice to get some good returns going this season. Not sure the lanes will be there but am hopeful.

I wouldn't be surprised if the STs were a dumpster fire the first 2 games. He's been the STs coordinator for the Panthers and Titans since 2016 and his units were nothing special on either team if I remember correctly. Regardless he lasted until 2022 with the Panthers and only one year with the Titans who definitely were nothing special. His unit in preseason stank badly. No more excuses about rotating players on and off. That is the name of the game on STs. Just be average would be as good as I think we can expect. Let's just say I for one was underwhelmed when he was hired.

Who really gives a CRAP what you think when it comes to NO KNOWLEDGE on what Mcvay likes in him with those blinders.

Maybe Raheem Morris’s reflection or Rob Havienstien blocking your sunlight.

I know what I saw & how The first team guys look.Brycen & Ben will be the blocking backs on Punts.Ethan Evans was a nice find &worthy of a 7th rd pick.Dude clobbers the ball & showed nice touch.

WTF - have you seen Kyren Williams this season. LMAO

This guy is ELECTRIC. IMO he runs better routes than Ekler?
I know that Ekler is amazing out of the backfield, but when it comes to finding space & getting open Kyren Williams has an Excellent feel. Matthew Stafford just needs to read his route right, which he has shown

Wait - you’ll be surprised how good he is out of the backfield.

I guess going against this young Rams defense might leave a little to be desired then. If he shows up at all like he did in training camp. ?

There might be a reason he never took a snap in the preseason. That would because The Rams know what they have in Williams.

Rule changes have nuked the return game… steady hands is the priority skill over return ability. Catch the ball, hand it off to the offense.

Not that I like that, but the rule changes make it so.

What rule changes are you referring to? Is just for punts of kick returns also?
