Kevin was one of the all time greats. Saddened to hear of his demise. I’m proud to say he was once a Ram. RIP brother.

Damn. My favorite defensive player until AD...I became a fan in the late 80’s during his Ram heyday. And still my guy on D if I’m ever beating up on the kids playing Tecmo Super Bowl. The dude was a beast. Sucked when he left to have success elsewhere.

RIP, KG. So young:(

Wow very surprised by this. I know that I’m getting older when some of the people I idolized as a kid are starting to pass.
RIP Kevin Greene you lived a full and rich life. To your family an easing of your passing.

Loved watching you play #91!!

Yeah, this one hurts.

I'm a fan from So Cal. I went to a few games in St. Louis.

After a game, I saw Kevin outside where the players were exiting the stadium and I struck up a conversation with him. Super nice guy.

I mentioned I was at the game in Anaheim when his wife sung the National Anthem. His face lit up when I mentioned that and was shocked I remembered her singing that day. It was fun to meet him, and awful to hear of his passing.

I was talking about this to my wife. I pray that he didnt end his life. Too many players have CTE and end it all.

I really hope it was a peaceful, quick end.

This just has me fuckin shocked.

Wasn't he just on Family Feud earlier this year with other NFL Hall of famers?

RIP Kevin Greene

Just can't believe he's gone. Kevin was one of my favorite pass rushers. Had the pleasure of meeting him briefly at a Rams booster club activity at an Anaheim Jr. High School where the Rams practiced. He was by far the most popular player there so there was a crowd around him seeking his autograph. He didn't stay long and as he headed back to his Mercedes Benz convertible he accidentally bumped into me and I fell. He extended his hand to help me back up and apologized and made sure I was okay. Yes, he was a badass on the gridiron and class act off of it. I'm still in shock and left wondering what the cause of death was. At 58 he was just nine years younger than I am now. I remember a game against the Raiders at the Coliseum when he sacked their QB in the end zone twice. Two safeties in one game. I think the record still stands. Visiting Ram fans were going nuts while Raider fans just buried their heads in their hands. Hated to see him move on to Pittsburgh but I would even cheer him on there. RIP and Godspeed. See you on the other side.
