Anybody else have this play not televised live? My NFL Network feed was still in commercial! Commercial cuts off and the Rams are lining up for the XP, and I’m thinking WTF just happened?!?

Watching Donald and Ramsey escort K.Young to the endzone was a thing of beauty!
Talk about a WE not ME culture. This entire Team is extraordinarily special. Once the O gets into gear with our D it will be pretty amazing. There’s no reason why we shouldn’t dominate for years to come. I am very proud of tonights performance. Rams stomped the ground @sofi which is why there was a crack already on the concrete.

I watched it on Amazon Prime. No trouble at all. Hulu was glitching again though. So I switched.

I thought it was AD grabbing the RB so that the only player there was Young. But yeah... seems like the entire D was a part of that play.

Floyd got pressure (forcing Newton to throw the ball anticipating where the HB would be), AD grabbed the HB, and Young caught the INT.

Yeah, saw that as I'm rewatching the game now on NFL Network. Just can't get enough, I guess.

Nothing like a score on D to energise a defense, and demoralise the opposing unit.

We are creating a habit of scoring on D, and I like it!

My reddit stream was perfect when it had to be last night. Cox had been going out more than usual in Dec, it's usually very reliable for me but the early morning hours on Wednesday it was out for over 30 min before coming back on. I was like don't you fucking dare do that when the game is on. On buffering incidents I've watched games where it cut out like you mentioned, it jumps to commercial in the middle of a play. That's some lag going on.

Floyd got pressure (forcing Newton to throw the ball anticipating where the HB would be), AD grabbed the HB, and Young caught the INT.
Someone mentioned it in the game thread, but when I saw the first replay where they point out that Donald held up the RB I laughed because it was a pure Belicheat move. Yeah I know (and witnessed) the history of SB 36 and holding Faulk, it was just so sweet to see BB's ape shit being thrown right back at him for a score. I was yelling and laughing during the game more than I ever had in a long time.

Direct TV went out for about half the second quarter. Got to see that play though.

Cam Newton was being blocked by Jalen Ramsey too as Young changed direction to ensure he went untouched into the end zone.

Oh, what a night, you know I didn't even want to watch the game.
But I was never gonna be the same
What a team, what a night

Last night is the perfect example of why I said in last week's Victory thread that I'd focus basically exclusively on O in this upcoming draft (Assuming no major FA defections)...this defense is championship-level.

ILB'er Kenny Young's best Rams game yet! *Stats ->EIGHT Tacks / One sack/ One PDEF & One INT for 79 yd return.

Seems like Kenny Young was always an afterthought in the trade with the Raven on the trade deadline back on 10/15/2019 the 2020 5th round pick involving Marcus Peters. Last year he played behind Bryce Hager, Clay Matthews, Travin Howard & Troy Reeder. Young very rarely saw the field. BonifayRam had him as a late 2020 pre-season cut in place of drafted ILB'er Clay Johnston. I wouldn't listen to him too often.

Now for the great component of all of this ILB'er Kenny Young is under contract for 2021!

Rams 2021 Interior LB'ers under contract
Kenny Young 27/4-4th rd pick in 2018/ UFA 2022
Travin Howard 26/3rd yr- 7th rd pick in 2018/ ERFA 2021
Micah Kiser 25/ 3rd yr -5th rd 2018 pick/UFA 2022
Troy Reeder 26/3rd yr -UDFA in 2019/ RFA 2022
Christian Rozeboom 27/R-Practice Squad
Derrick Moncrief 27/R-Practice Squad

Young has been up till now mostly a part-time ILB'er...........

Rozeboom and Moncrief are two guys to watch next year. Along with Hoecht and Jonah Williams there is talent on the PS. Both these Hoecht and Williams can play inside and out and both have speed. Hoecht at about 300 lbs clocked an amazing 4.68 sec 40 time, making him about as fast as Donald.

I like Kiser and when he's healthy he's becoming a very good MIKE. But that's the problem. Kiser can't stay on the field. IMO the Rams have found their starters at ILB in Reeder and Young. Rozeboom and Moncrief will give them good depth. I can also see Rivers taking Okoronkwo's roster spot in the rotation. Rivers is a better scheme fit in Staley's scheme as his speed makes him far more versatile than Ogbo.

I see a lot of roster changes next year. But IMO they actually might make this team deeper and better overall. I'm really hyped by the potential I see in this roster. It's been a long time since I've seen a roster this loaded. This is a young team that is built for the long haul and media no nothings like DaSilva have no clue. In some ways this last game might have been the coming-out party for this championship caliber roster. The only team that can truly beat the Rams are themselves. If they play a clean game they can beat down anyone in the NFL. I've been saying it all year and it's on display for the entire NFL to take notice.

NFL you have been put on notice.....THE RAMS HAVE ARRIVED.

I agree with this, but if we're are so deep I wonder why our special teams are so bad....

In the off season of the 2021 LA Rams, I do not see any reason for this Org. to plan to address in Free Agency or in the 2021 draft in these two interior LB'ing units coached by veteran assistant head coach & ILB'er coach Joe Barry.

MLB'ers Micah Kiser, Troy Reeder & Christian Rozeboom are very young & have talent. None have reached their full potential yet. WSILB'ers Kenny Young, Travin Howard & very fast quick CFL Derrick Moncrief are very young & the same as the MLB'er yet to reach their full potential. Justin Hollins has also been utilized at times As both MLB'er & WSILB'er post this regular season. Hollins is mainly OLB'er.

I would strongly suggest that salary cap funds & priceless draft selection be utilized elsewhere.
