For how good of a QB Drew Brees is, he sure throws some head scratchers.

On topic, I like Gordy. Best corner this year - aside from Fletcher in his limited time. Coaching staff has said how much he has improved throughout the season. I like him as our 3rd corner next year behind Fletcher and Bartell, provided that they are healthy.

Bartel is looking good healthwise (apparently), but Fletcher has two ACL tears on that same knee - so I don't know about him.

Also, did anyone else notice that Ron Hood played better than Justin King? Hood played WAY better than my expectations. I was thinking Tye Hill-esk stuff from him.

Oh, I noticed, once he got into shape and into the fold, under the circumstance I thought Hood was great. Wouldn't mind him being back in some capacity.

Hood is not that big of a step down for Bartell. And he's a better ballhawk.

Gordy needs polish.

I love Gordy.

I hope he stays on the team next season as well as Stewart.

Yeah, Gordy was a find. I think he'll be fourth string next year, behind Bartell, Fletcher (if healthy), and Jerome Murphy (who everyone was expecting to make a big improvement). I know a lot of people like the CB out of LSU, but we really have a lot of quality and depth at that position, this year we just had an unprecedented number of injuries.
