I know a lot of people aren't excited for the Super Bowl this year, especially because of a certain QB. Myself included.

But having said that, there was a time when we didn't think we would even see a football season, let alone have a Super Bowl on schedule.

The NFL did a fantastic job of handling COVID for the most part, save a few hiccups (Ravens and Broncos situations). We saw minimal delays, no cancelled games or random makeup weeks. Even more thankful considering the newness of it all and how to handle COVID. Now 30 of the 32 teams' fans are already looking toward next year. Hopefully 2021 will be even better.

The logistics of producing just one NFL game that's non-televised is crazy. Now compound that with the national and prime time games, there's just so much more involved. I think a lot of people take it for granted.

Season was full of ups and downs, like any other year. But this year was special. Thankful to have seen it.

I took vacation on the Friday of opening weekend... just to enjoy the football weekend... out of fear it could be a 2-3 week deal before things got off the rails. I.e. better grab my football fix because the season seemed poised for problems.

Really surprised we finished a full season. With minimal disruption, really.

The other thing that crossed my mind about the 2020 season...

What a weird season without fans in stadiums!

We will forever ID 2020 in game highlights by that. Let's hope it's 2020 and never again.

I really was ready to do without. All the politics and covid crap had me looking for finding plenty of other good things in my life. I even canceled the NFL ticket after 25 years. They totally pushed me off.

Once games started I was hit or miss, by half way through the season DTV was offering the package for free to get us back so I took it.

I was happy to see some Rams games again and cam back in ROD, a more enjoyable part of football.

I’m still not interested in their politics and think the virus is no worse than other things we face in life. Hopefully it all goes away before the 21 season and we can be entertained without indoctrination.

And Brady gets a beat down in the SB

What was even weirder is the fake noise they would play on tv. It looked and felt like the stadium was packed but at the same time it was probably like playing at a golf course for the players.

The times they didn't pipe in noise you could hear all the QBs before each play. That was really cool.

I'm grateful for this huge QB trade because I'd want to blow my head off if I had to hear about Tom Brady for 2 straight weeks

Thank god for football. I really thought this fall/winter would absolutely suck. Locked inside, nothing to do, just depressing. Instead I literally watched football on every weekday at one point. Ah what a year for the armchair QB. Raise a glass to all that is the game we love!

Best part about the trade hhaha.
"On the Eve of Tom Brady becoming the first QB to play in a Superbowl at his team's home stadium, The Los Angeles Rams made a trade for Matthew Stafford, who just one year later will become the first Quarterback to WIN a Superbowl in his home team's stadium"
