I was re-watching sounds of the game for the Super Bowl and it struck me again. I mentioned it in another thread, but I really think it deserves more than a passing commentary. IMO future HOFers on this Rams team:

HC Sean McVay
QB Matt Stafford
LT Andrew Whitworth
WR Cooper Kupp
DT Aaron Donald
CB Jalen Ramsey
OLB Von Miller

The HC and 6 of the starting 22 players. Do we add in GM Les Snead who assembled this star-studded group?

Only Miller and Whitworth won't be back this season. Noteboom has shown he's a worthy successor at LT and they have options at DE with Lewis and Hollins. I don't see how anyone can say the Rams aren't the Super Bowl favorite this year. They added Robinson at WR who is IMO an upgrade to Woods.

Damn this team is reloaded and ready to go again.

I'm excited to see who Les adds via trades and drafts. Anyone Les adds now is gravy. I'm not giving up on a trade for Hunter. If it also involves Woods, then it would have to be a post June 1 transaction so both teams can spread their advanced dead cap over two years, so it could be in a holding pattern.

Not so sure Robinson is an “upgrade” from Woods. I guess it depends on how you look at it. Woods has been a total pro so far. Great teammate, great blocker, football smart, and clutch hands.

Woods and Whitworth were targeted for a reason when McVay got here.

Robinson is younger and perhaps more athletic, but so are a lotta guys I would NOT take over Woods (pre injury). Don’t get me wrong, the Rams could certainly use a guy like Robinson right now; but it just isn’t that easy FOR ME to forget the kind of player and teammate Woods has been since he got here. That stuff isn’t easily replaced.

He is without a doubt an upgrade. He's bigger than Kupp who is a near-TE. Better hands, in fact one of the few who can compare to Odell. Catch radius of a TE. Woods on a bad roster was a relative unknown. Robinson produces no matter who is throwing it to him.

Lot of fans view these guys with their hearts and there's nothing wrong with that btw. But this was a business decision for a reason.

The Rams are still loaded but strangely enough, we need a capable replacement for Weddle and Von Miller.

Those spots were a glaring weakness at times last season.

A little early for Cooper Kupp HOF considerations, but I'm rooting for him

I hate to have seen what kind of a Chargers Fan you were?

Eric Weedle is a Hall of Fame NFL
Player. He just needed a SuperBowl victory to help push him over the top.
He was calling the plays for the defense, despite not being on the squad all season.
What he did withBaltimore was pretty impressive as well.He made a mark on that team with his leadership & play.

Nick Scott sure stepped up.Fuller played well, but got exposed a little.
Tyler Rapp I wonder about,But T.Burgees has a lot of upside. He I’m sure learned a lot from Eric Weedle. Burgees is Eric Weedle boy from Utah.He has mentored him from a far & was a reason The Rams drafted him.

I read Robinson has had only one dropped pass over the last two full seasons (2020, 2021). That's impressive!
