The biggest surprise for me this year has been our run defense. I mentioned it a while back but we haven’t held teams under 100 ypg rushing since 2001. And we’re currently STOUT against it. It’s been a lot of fun to watch this defense.

Might have to strap Staley to a chair in the off-season so he doesn’t leave.
i KNOW...Snead/McVay might have to get all Belchekian and not allows interviews until after the Super Bowl win...;o)

I'm wondering if we see more 4/3 on running downs with Kiser banged up.

AD, Robinson, SJD and Brockers would be a tough 4 to try and run up the middle on.

Fox in at other end if more pass rush firepower is desired.

Interesting thought. On one hand, why mess with success? Reeder can play the middle linebacker position. On the other hand, that's a pretty good front 4. I wonder if Donald could get more sacks from the DE position???

The way Staley rotates with so many creative packages, this wouldn't surprise me.

I spent most of the off season talking up Jospeh Day and getting lambasted on the board.
Didn’t Gaines play well for part of a pre season game?
Anyway.....Jospeh-Day is a very good player.
Gets washed out occasionally vs the run or a double team but he is a consistent good player.
I was wrong about Boom at T.
I was right about Joseph-Day.

Were all wrong at some point. I have been wrong many many times
and will be wrong again. No biggie.

It just part of being passionate about our Rams,
And if you're going to be wrong, isn't it a great way to be wrong.
A player on our beloved Rams has outplayed your expectations.

I'll take being wrong like that.all day long. :fistbump::beer2:

With Obo healthy, I'd move Ebukam inside for some packages. Down to Reeder and Young at ILB right now.

I was thinking the same thing. He's fast, he has the size, and the Rams seem to have plenty of edge players. Not sure he likes the contact though. However, in Staley I trust! lol

Seems like it would make sense to switch guys in and out when needed, but we never see that. I bet Rapp would play a lot this week, if he was available.

Here's some things I've posted WAY before it was agreed upon by the majority. (People angrily called me names, and that I was not a ram fan, haha)

"The Rams will not be a winning football team until Jeff Fischer is gone." (was completely true)

"Todd Gurley's attitude hurts the team. He's not worth having anymore." (completely true)

"Daryl Henderson is going to be a very very good running back." (looks to be true)

"Goff is an above average QB, but not elite." (so far to date, true)

And here's a few of my WAY before predictions that are still in process:
"Whitworth will not play again this season." (said this immediately after his injury)
"Williams #31 will be JUST as valuable as Ramsey to the Rams, by October 2021." (said this about a month ago)
"Rams will not again make it to the superbowl until the 2021 season." (said this one in August of 2019)

(I hope I'm wrong about Whit and this year's Rams superbowl chances)

GO Los Angeles RAMS!!!

Careful ... you might separate a shoulder patting yourself on the back so much.

There is good wrong and bad wrong.
Going to smoke a brisket and a turkey for Thanksgiving and realize late-ish last night I forgot (somehow) to pick up pellets......that’s bad wrong.

Seeing a LT vastly outplay my expectations.....that’s good wrong.

I’m thrilled to be wrong to this point and happy for Boom as well.
