And he may actually be happy with them. It could be that if he sees talent there but they need work he'd come out and say there were looking at options to motivate them. We can play this game trying to pick apart his comments all day but in the end we can only really take the coach at his word.McVay is not going to throw his players, the ISLbers under the bus. They may go with what they have but, may not be real happy about it. The cap space is tight.

And I wasn't attacking you sorry if it came across like that You see in just about every thread somebody quoting McVay and immediately there's discussion about what he really said that's it.I'm not picking his comments apart! That's why I said he may not be real happy. He did lose his starting ISLber in Howard. The main point is McVay is not going to say negative things about his players he is trying to build up.
I stand by my post.
Don't hold your breath and learn to accept the ILB depth as it is.... or not.

But how many of those ILB from the last few years that were getting shredded are going to be starting this year? Maybe it's a good thing we are going with the young guys. How bad our ILB were like you said always made it interesting that so many wanted to keep Littleton and Ogletree.McVay and coaches may be OK with current LB's, but I sure as hell am NOT. I see Rams getting shredded by TE's over the middle and RB's getting 5 to 7 yds a carry up the gut if Reeder is in at ILB. Guy is slow and though he makes tackles, unfortunately its after a signifigant gain.
Isnt bradham too expensive for us?I am not a coach. just a lifelong Rams fan but why not pick up 1 vet ILB (like Nigel Bradham) for security until the young guys prove themselves. I hope I am wrong but I have hope for Kiser then I don’t have a lot of optimism for anyone else this year at ILB.
