Saints losing Lattimore alone was a huge loss for them. The dropoff from him is profound, but it's worse than that for them as they're missing both CBs in this game and Vaccaro has been nursing a groin.

There should be space for him to work in on Sunday.

I've given the dude a hard time through the offseason, camp, and season, and I feel rightly so, but have to admit that as I look at this matchup IF he can go in there and catch the MFing ball this could be a real nice statement game for him.

Not counting on him here, of course, as I've learned my lesson with that dude. But it's possible we see a strong game from him in this one, and for those who are still hoping he'll work out in this offense there is reason for hope since he should see the field early and if he can produce McVay will feed him.

The sad part is that even if the Rams destroy the Saints, they will not be considered contenders versus the Vikings and the Eagles. Before last weeks game I heard the question 'Who will challenge the Eagles?" The Rams were included with the Vikes and the Saints. This week, the Rams are not included in that conversation.....

Yeah and that's not a bad thing. Media love to crown everyone week to week, it's whatever. Rams are in the mix and that's what matters.

Hopefully we destroy the Saints. But the bad part is then the hoopla starts up again sigh.

Yeah..They have crowned the Iggles already, and I don't think they will be in the Super Bowl.

Tavon did catch 4 of 4 Targets for 45 yards and a TD last year when we played the Aint's, So he should be able to do better under McVay's Leadership!

I used to like Casserly. But he was in the "Goff is a bust" camp. So he will always go out of his way to attack Goff, no matter what he does, just like Heath Evans.

This all works in the Rams favor, puts a chip on their collective shoulders, at least I hope it does

Casserly I can tolerate, Heath Evans, I can't stand, and don't understand how he got the Gig he's got!!

It's just about timing and match ups.
The Vikings may be better than the Rams this year, they certainly were better last weekend.
People prognosticating doesn't mean much.
There are some things that need to improve certainly.

Prescott has more turnovers in 3 games than Goff (2016) had all of last year, yet nobody talked about how garbage the offensive line was, nor how trash the running game was, and to top it all off, nobody said anything about our WR's. Britt is on a milk carton somewhere, Tavon is in the doghouse. Brian Quick is gardening with @LACHAMP46. And Lance Kendrick is on a bench somewhere. Yet, all I hear is how everybody else is the problem when it comes to Dak Prescott. The nerve of Terry Bradshaw to say that Prescott has a better arm than Goff.....

Great post bro! I been thinking the same the moment I heard Woods was out a few weeks. Tavon is due for a couple of bust out games and I think McVay realizes his Viking offensive game plan was doo doo without Tavon in it. He will adjust accordingly this week, he’s not dumb. Young and inexperienced but not dumb!!
Charley Casserly just said that Case Keenum is better than Jared Goff this year.... freaking cancerous media man. I swear these freaking clowns rampant.
id have to say that is the Kase this year and last year. In the future? I don’t see it being close after this year TBH.
My favorite thing about Kase is his ability to rally his teammates around him given his faults or shortcomings and push forward. It’s a rare ability. Very likable dude.

I can’t stabd that pos Heath Evans. Like the other people they have but it’s ruins their show with his ass on there.

Hahaha Damn you!
Stop making sense. You are funny bro! Meh Goff will continue to trend up the next two years and it will be a mute point.

Casserly drafted Heath Shuler. Nuff said.

I don't like either of them, but Heath Evans looks like a straight up window licker to me.

I'm surprised we haven't seen Tavon on deep routes at all this year. With the backup CBs in why not put him outside for a few short routes if they give him a big cushion. If they play him close then send him deep. McVay has to have one play where Tavon could get open in space. Whatever McVay does without Woods will be interesting to watch.

I don't care what most media guys say about Goff and the Rams. We can watch for ourselves.

We could be playing a high school team and Tavon's stats might well still be middling because McVay refuses to use him. I think in large part McVay just does not trust Austin after the muffed punts. That would actually be fair enough, but for the fact keeps giving Higbee targets despite his drops. Austin has proven he can be electric on a somewhat consistent basis. Higbee... not so much. So I don't know why he chooses only to punish the former.

So much of sports is mental. Austin's confidence cannot be high right now, which does not help things.

I am a huge Austin fan and have posted defending him at length in the past. But I think his days as a Ram are numbered. He still has immense value even as a decoy. But he makes way too much money if that is all he is bringing to the table.

Goff hit Austin with a long pass for a TD last year against New Orleans. Perhaps we see a repeat. But I doubt it.
