I just purchased my ticket for our first home regular season game in 21 years will be sitting about 25 rows up at about the 45-40 yard line on our sideline. I'm so stoked to be going to the game I can just imagine the atmosphere! Lol

My question in lies with Ive never been to this stadium or LA before. I'll get there Friday before and I'll leave Monday after the game.

I rented an SUV but I've been told it's cheap to park near the stadium is this true? Should I get a cab or bus etc? I'll be staying at Venice beach. I heard you'll spend 10-20 to park in front of somebody's house?

Any pre game or post game coolness events would be greatly appreciated if you have any knowledge of them!

I got myself a nice spot a stone throw away from Venice Beach but does anybody have any suggestions on things to do? Ofc beach for a bit each day.. Thinking of going to Universal Studuos Saturday but not 100% yet on that.

Seriously, any help, suggestions, and/or advice would be greatly appreciated since it's my first time being in that huge beast of a city! Lol

Ps thinking of taking a go pro to take pics/vids of the game... Anybody ever purchased one of these cameras before?
Reviews? Advice? Tips?

Pss I need to buy a nice Gurley/Goff/ or Donald jersey... Any suggestions where to get a quality one that will get to my house before the 16th of sept?

I thank you ahead for any help making this trip a crazy unique and wonderful experience!

Well, ... kinda depends on whether this is a family vacation with kids and the wife or are you visiting with a friend with common interests. Are you from out of state or out of the country ? L.A. has it all, so if you are into music, theatre, comedy clubs, hiking, bicycling, walking, other sports like baseball (Dodgers/Chavez Ravine), the mountains, restaurants, theme parks, shopping, ... you could spend weeks exploring any number of things without leaving the county. You mentioned already staying near the beach, so without ever leaving the coast or PCH, there is plenty to see anywhere between Laguna and Malibu. L.A. has a great zoo, an Aquarium, an observatory near the Hollywood sign, 8 Flags, Universal Studios, and Disneyland is right around the corner. Are you more of a day person or a night person, there are clubs everywhere. We have some great museums near the L.A.Coliseum, both natural history and art. I recommend taking William Hayes with you if you decide on the Natural History Museum.

I remember parking in peoples yards near the Coliseum costing anywhere from $5 - $45 over 30 years ago, the local news has been reporting fees up to $100 for the 2 home games so far, ... and traffic will be terrible. If you can find a limo service to deliver and pick you up, it will be well worth it. Or maybe find a willing friend for a designated driver.

Be more specific about your interests and you'll get better recommendations. jmo.

I live 15 minutes form the Colesium and I went to the Rams/Cowboys game. they were charging 80$ to park close to the stadium. and the cheapest I saw to park was 30$ several blocks away. The traffic jam was horrible. Some people missed half the game trying to park.
Your best bet is to do like I did and take the metro-tram to Exposition Park which is a block from the Colesium and walk the rest of the way to your seat.

Pregame event will be fanfest. We will definitely be stopping there before Seattle game. You can bring in cans of beer there, but keep it on the down low. They also have food trucks and restrooms too. Kinda like tailgating.

Like BRF said Metro is your best bet. It may be a little packed after game though. There's a parking structure on Florence and expo blvd stop (I believe) on the west side of town. May need to get there a little early to park there and it is free parking.

I saw on the news Tuesday night that the Metro is adding special routes for Ram home games. I don't have any particulars but I do know that they recently added a new line a couple of months ago in Santa Monica which is adjacent to Venice on the north side. But public transportation is definitely the way to go. See what info you can get online. Go to www.metrolinktrains.com

I would say take an Uber or Lyft. You can get an estimated fee prior to getting there. (http://uberestimate.com/) or (https://lyftrideestimate.com/). But when the game is over, there's going to be a Surge Fee. So you may think about Uber or Lyft before hand if that's the plan because Surge Fee can be very high.

Otherwise, I recommend parking a little bit further away at someone's place. Some homeowners charge $45-$60 to park on their lawn and it's not that far off from the Coliseum.

Universal Studios is a great place to visit IMHO. Six Flags, Dodgers, Angels, Griffith Observatory, Getty Museums (one in Malibu and one near UCLA), Santa Monica Pier, Malibu, Laguna Beach, Huntington Beach, Long Beach, California Science Center (right next to the Coliseum) those are great places to see as well. The California Science Center has the Endeavor Space Shuttle and that is a sight to see. I'd stay away from Disneyland. Disneyland is overcrowded and overpriced. Lines are long unless you pay extra for a Fast Pass.

There are so many sights to see in So Cal. Check out Hollywood Blvd for the Walk-Of-Fame. You'll also be surprised to see different characters walking there as well.

Park at Union station and take the Metro. Just did it for the Pre-season opener. Easy peasy.

On Fan day, prior to week one of the pre-season Parking was $20-$40, I've heard that since then the Parking is going for $40-$90! And that's not RV parking!!
And look for it to take a Loooong Time to get their in Traffic!! Also they do not allow camera's in the Coliseum! And No strollers are allowed!
Get their Early!!! I hear the "Tail-Gating" Has been something to write Home about, IN A VERY GOOD WAY!!:D
" Have Fun, the Fans have all been GREAT!!:yess:

Listen to @bubbaramfan and @VegasRam . If possible, you don't want to be in a car around that stadium on game day. Besides - the walk to the Coliseum with your fellow Rams fans will be fun in and of its own.

Unless you are VERY familiar with driving in LA and especially around the Exposition Park area, and willing to spend 3 hours in your car, it's not a good idea to drive. Getting a GoogleMaps printout won't tell you streets that have been blocked off, or construction re-routes or street signs not posted.

When I went to the Fan Appreciation Day at the Coliseum they told my, wife she couldn't bring hers in because it was against the Rules.
Then instead of making her take it back to the car, because the lines where stacked up, they relented and let her pass with it!
Then I saw other Fans around us, when we were seated, with camera's! There where 3 different sets of Security Officers their, and each one was too sure about Rules regarding different things! So IDK what to tell you!
One other thing, while I'm thinking of it, in case I haven't mention it before. When Buying Beer at the Coliseum, They "Card EVERYONE!" They Carded me, and I thought the guy was joking, he wasn't! After showing him my ID he said "You look very young fore you age." I told him it was California Living!!"

I think that is actually the normal rule during fan days - not sure. As to the ID for buying beers, it is actually the law here in Oregon and probably CA as well. You have to have ID period. Been that way for many moons but most places don't enforce it.

Honestly, the last 2 preseason games we seen parking spots charging 50-100 bucks, it's not cheap. I'm sure you can find someone to park at there house but I haven't done it. I'd suggest looking into the metro line that runs right next to the stadium might be cheaper or use Uber. NFL shop is probably the best bet to get a Jersey in time all the spots I go to are not close to the stadium and getting something at the stadium is going to be more expensive. I get all my shit in the city of Downey at a spot called "Locker Room of Downey" they have alot of cool Rams shit and custom hats. Eat/drink before you hit the stadium too man, drinks are 15 bucks, dogs 7 (but they're always out), links 10, nachos 7, ect its pricey.

Heres the spot I go to for my Rams shit incase you're interested.

It's been that way in California for Years too. I was just surprised! I mean I have a full white beard and I don't believe I look that much younger than my almost 72 Years! But that's not the Law, It says you must have a Valid ID to buy Alcohol.

I seen the cops escorting out a guy in our section that had this very nice camera the lens was like a foot long. Have no idea if thats the reason but he came back later with no camera. We were all thinking if that was the issue, how the hell did he get that thing in lol.

Oh and last advice, watch out for those crazy ass away fans, Cowboys game - has these guys in our seats when we came back. Literally got in my face after I asked them to leave, handed my beer and sun glasses to my buddy and they ended up leaving.

Chiefs game - a fight broke out like 5 rows above us and it got all the Chief fans hot around us. One of my buddys has 4 tickets next to ours and his dad didn't end up going so he had a empty seat, some drunk ass SOB Chiefs fan walked from the nose bleeds down and hit him up like "HEY THATS MY SEAT, HERES MY TICKET(as he waves around half of a ticket not showing the details) we went over to check on my buddy since we seen all this going down, dude realizes theres now 7 people looking at him like WTF are you talking about and we watch him walk allllllll the way back up to the nose bleeds and sit down.

I know there's going to be a shit load of Seahawk fans at the home coming game, just hope everyones chill and aint stupid like the last 2 games.

There are like 0 ushers around the seats its like a free for all with seat jacking. Definitely trying to get home side tickets next year.
