and ordered the damn direct tv so I could get Sunday ticket. I'm
moving out to my property at the end of the month. I went ahead and ordered the service and took a tv out there so I can watch every game lol. Didn't wanna go the satellite route. But at least I won't miss a game.

Same here. And I was a Rams season ticket holder too. I'd hurry home from the 12:00 game, and usually catch the 2nd half of the afternoon games. Now I'll be able to watch all of them!

Unfortunately I live near Pittsburgh so I've only been to away games so that's why directv is a must . I did promise my son and grandson we would make the trip to LA when the new stadium is built and do the Disneyland experience.

I just did the same thing, they actually gave me a decent deal to switch to directv and I got the nfl sunday ticket free. This will be a better viewing experience then trying to watch torrents through the firestick plus I can record the games if I'm not at home. I'm looking forward to playing around with the nflst this sunday.

I decided to stay with Game Pass and live with watching the games on delay. My schedule would only allow me to watch about half of the Rams' games live anyway.

You don't need a direct TV subscription for Sunday Ticket Anymore FYI. Since AT@T bought out directTV it has been offered stand alone so no need for the icky 2yr contract. Seriously I got ticket yesterday via streaming through XBOX, phone, and tablet/pc for 99 dollars since I qualified for Student pricing. Not sure how much it is without student discount but I think if you get a amazon fire stick they have promotions for discounted pricing as well, again not positive but look into it as 2yr contracts can get expensive.

I've been enjoying the kodi option. I did have trouble with finding a stable feed for the third preseason game but the others were fine and yesterdays opening kickoff game came in fine. I'm so done with directv forever. All though the latest deals they keep offering me is $20 for 12 months, free genie hd/dvr, free premium cable for 3 months, and free sunday ticket this year. It would be tempting if they could guarantee I'd never have to deal with their idiot customer service.

How did you get it for free? I've been with them 12 years, and only got a 25% discount.

I called and asked to speak to retention dept, once connected I told Heather that we need to do something about my bill as it was to high. I let her look for a few seconds and then I told her that in the past i have gotten Sunday Ticket for free and the only reason I was with them was for Sunday Ticket and if they couldn't give it to me free I had no reason to stay with them. Wham Bam I had it for free. Got a couple of other very small discounts (not as much as I have got in the past).

I was real calm and polite and truthful and it worked.

Nothing worse than going to the casino to watch the games. Nothing.
Once I got the ticket there was no going back.

Out of curiosity, did it ask you to put in an address? I tried this with my current address and wasn't able to. I used my old address and it said I qualified for it.

NM. I just saw you got it through student pricing. I need to find someone with an .edu email.

I talked to 3 different people and told them that I've heard others who have been with them a long time were getting it for free and they kept denying, denying, denying. I talked to retention department, supervisors, etc... I feel a strongly worded e-mail threatening to leave might be in order.
