never understood why they got away from running those last year after how effective they were in 2015. they will need to start handing tavon the ball more and throw some passes out of it to keep the decoy working

I couldnt understand why Boras didnt use this more last year. It worked well in 2015 until they stopped using it as often, this play must be run at least 4 or 5 times a game if not more to fully utilize it. There are so many things Goff can do with the ball on the double play fake then hit a TE or WR that takes advantage of a LB that bites on or is held out of position due to the possibilty of TA getting the ball combined with the guys that have to be ready for Gurley to get it. Goff should have his choice of targets wide open, all off of 1 gadget play with 5 or more possible playmakers getting the ball. Combined with the possible formations to run it from, you could literaly have a full chapter of the playbook be from that 1 jet sweep play.

That graphic they showed the last game when the entire defense shifted when Austin went in motion shows how dangerous he really is. Tavon is getting really close to getting more playing while he gets his body back into football shape
