Rams LT Andrew Whitworth (ankle) will not return to Sunday's game against the Eagles.
It's unclear if Whitworth aggravated his ankle injury or simply decided he couldn't play through it. Darrell Williams will finish the game at left tackle for Los Angeles. The fact that Whitworth couldn't go today throws him into doubt for Week 15.

What did I miss here?

He did return and played well. Just in time for Big Rob to go down and not come back in.

They both came back in. Unfortunately, McVay didn't wait until Havenstein to get back in before he ran the stupid PA deep shot.

I didn't see that play develop. Did he have someone deep or no?

He might have if he had enough time. Sammy had a one-on-one.
He did... Sammy was just getting past coverage but was watching Williams as I was paranoid and as soon as I seen he didn’t push him up field and let him go I knew we were fucked.

I just don’t get how McVay doesn’t play call differently with his starter gone. When Whitworth went down he ran an important 3rd and 3 over there the next play. That isn’t smart. If anything run it towards Havs side.

Agreed. Adapt to the personnel. All we had to do was chew some clock. I don't believe Foles could drive it down the field on us without help from the refs (which he probably would have gotten).

True that. And as it turns out ONE decent throw allowed Nick Fails to beat us. :/ That’s all it really amounted to.

Disappointed in McVay acting like Mad Mike and having your Pro Bowl/All Pro RB not help you control the game. I pray he learns from this.

He could have figured that the Eagles wouldn't expect a run behind the backup tackle as soon as he comes in the game. He also could actually trust that Williams is capable to do the job.

Or he could of expected to not play to a weakness and send girl literally the first play behind him. That makes sense.

Williams is second string for a reason.

Yea, that was not a smart call. Should've called a run away from the right, or a short pass-play. Plenty of secure options for that with Watkins, Kupp, and Gurley in there. Fortunately, McVay will probably be the first to admit that, but it doesn't exactly help right now...

Which girl?
One of the cheerleaders or Erin Andrews?

I've always thought that Erin would have made out excellent tight end.
