Commitment to the run game in 2nd half paid off today" the Defense won the game today no doubt as they made big plays throughout the game to keep zona from taking over the momentum, but watching Gurley finishing off the 4th qtr was a beautiful thing to watch and this behind a suspect OL that couldn't block anybody in the 1st half. Todd Gurley showed today why he's a premium rb in this league and he just announced it to the league.

This teams lack of ability to run the ball the late games has been this teams achilles heel and inability to finish games, but you need a rb that you can hand the ball to and run out the clock, this was a huge win" today and they let zona know their not going to be able to run away with the division just yet.

Nick Foles played some tough ball today, he hung in there and took some big hits in order to make some big throws that kept drives alive and give the Defense a breather, this was something that never happened in the past, our Defense would get exhausted and just couldn't keep up 4qtrs on the field, giving them time to rest today and make adjustments was a big reason why the Rams won today.

I think this is something that they can build on and finally get their identity established now that they have a rb that can make plays even without stellar blocking, looking forward to watching Gurley build on his performance today.

With Austin finally coming to prominence (give some big props to Frank Cignetti Jr - he's done in 4 games what Brian Schottenheimer couldn't do in 3 years with TA) and having him and Gurley on the field together at the same time we really could have the start - just the start, of a big time offense. The line played better in the second half today - especially in run blocking off to the left hand side - if they develop up to their potential (Brown, G Rob, Barnes and Havenstein - to add to Saffold's talent (and the fact that Saffold's been healthy this year!)). Now we just need Brian Quick to come to the party.
