I just wanted to say you guys have one of the classiest teams and fan base in football. Your easy to pull for when your not playing us, love you all and hope you guys represent the NFC if we don’t in the SB next year.

I'll go with the 2000 team. If there were no injuries that year, the 2000 team was on it's way to seriously crush all kinds of nfl offensive records.

I'll go with 2001. We had Aeneas on the team, and unlike the 2000 team, we had a top five defense.

That 2000 team was great. You guys beat Minnesota that year in the playoffs right then lost to the Saints.

had Dick Vermeil.

This... I hate to say, but with Vermeil, I think we win the 2001 SB. He had the fundamentals and valued a run game more than Martz and emphasized a greater overall toughness. The unheralded difference was the Old timer coaches would have still been there, instead of a bunch of them leaving when Martz took over. That was a lot of experience leaving the building,

I also truly believe the loss of John Bunting as Co DCoord after the 99 season took a lot of the fundamnetals and defensive toughness with him as well.
