Looking at that schedule, currently has Sunday night game of Baltimore vs Pittsburgh. The way the Ravens are going they will be out of the playoff race and likely a game to be flexed out.

Goff has had the biggest turn around of anyone in the NFL this year, going from a struggling rookie captaining the league’s worst offense to a well above average signal caller in one of the league’s top offenses. Goff has been silencing his doubters so far.
That said, Wentz has been phenomenal to the point that he has to be in the MVP conversation. He has lead his team to the best record in football and is improving every week. It will be a great game with two QBs destine to take over the NFL but I feel like the Eagles have the edge with the way they have been playing.

Rams / Philly would be nice, it’s so much more than about the 2 QBs but I suppose that’s unavoidable
Rams D should present a daunting challenge, Rams are getting better and better and now with the bye ya gotta figure Goff and the receivers going the be working hard to be more consistent
This would be a no brainer if both teams stay on track

I recall seeing Wentz with some rookie moments last year. The look of uncertainty, doubt, confusion. Like he’s learning a playbook for the first time. Much of what Wentz went through last year Goff is experiencing this year. Thanks Fisher.

I was a Wentz guy right from the get, but i was also thrilled with goff selection after watching a lot of his college film. Butttt I won't get into that too much since this thread isn't the "whose side were you on, on draft night?" It's obvious Wentz is playing at a pretty damn high level, especially on third down, with the ability to be extremely elusive and aggressive downfield. With that said, he is much older than Jared (I wanna say by 3 years) and I think Jared could potentially enjoy the same success, although in a different skill set, if we incorporate more deep throws like the eagles do.
One note I took away from Sunday was Bill Cowher's excellent point on the cbs wrap up show that 3 things could happen when you throw a deep ball with an accurate QB, 2 of which are positives: 1) you could throw an incomplete pass, 2) you could throw a touchdown, or 3) you could draw a PI.
WE NEED MORE DOWNFIELD SHOTS!!! I like what we're doing, but we have a horse in particular itching and scratching to be turned loose, let's push it deep over the top!!

Looks like they lost Jordan Hicks for the season too. Guy is a beast when he's healthy.

Just to be a bit anti; but also because I believe it, t:
Goff has our amazing line, a great RB and 3 pretty good WRs, but the 'efficiency' rating against the Cards was not good. I wonder if he has peaked for 2017. Look at Sanchez in 2009-2010: best line, best running game, 2 near pro bowl WRs and in his 3rd year he sucked....never got better. My point is not that Goff= Sanchez, but it is that with all the great O Line play the numbers should be a lot better.

He does have a lot of weapons around him. But remember, he is 7 games into a new system with 3 brand new receivers whilst still not even having a full season playing experience under his belt. I can't at all see this as his peak this year. They way he moves in the pocket and stands tall and his arm are all reasons that he will continue to improve. Just wait until he has a full off season with this coaching staff and receivers. It'll make a world of difference imo.

Goff is controlling the game from the line of scrimmage. Sanchez had to have each play sent through his helmet colour coded so he didn't have to think too hard.
Don't wonder so much.

We need to fully energize that Jared to Sammy battery to maximum level as soon as possible. I really hope these two guys spend some overtime moments working on carrying this offense to the next level. Having Sammy being a real constant threat to take the roof off the top of the D changes everything! DCs would have to really try and lock down Sammy, which immediately frees up the other fly guys and provides the Gurley Express! with more room to ramble. And when DCs gamble on leaving Sammy with 1-on-1 coverage to control a rampaging Todd or Robert Woods or Cooper Kupp, how many CBs can handle a fully engaged Sammy 1-on-1 downtown? If we can get Sammy going, especially downtown, do we turn Tavon loose more after Sammy has dragged the coverage downfield with him and left less defenders and more real estate for our Little Big Man to play with?
Expect Cooper Kupp to improve in the second half of the season and even more next season. He has spent the first half, like most rookies, getting accustomed to NFL-caliber hits, defensive savvy, speed, & quickness. Likewise for Everett. The transition from collegiate defensive coverage to the pro level is really shock treatment for virtually all rookies. The drops we have seen from Cooper will gradually fade away, especially after he toughens his body, will, & spirit in his first full NFL off-season. Everett arrived here with poor blocking skills but a want-to-learn-everything attitude and his overall NFL-leve TE pedigree should enhance dramatically next season. Ditto for Higbee who next season will be in his second season with a real NFL caliber offense.
I would always take a Jared Goff over a Carson Wentz type. While I appreciate the running QBs, I prefer a guy with laser beam accuracy & finesse touch over a guy with wheels any day and twice on Sunday. Jared has not even fully come into his own yet: we are only seeing glimpses of the future promise of the Golden Arm.

Fisher himself directly addressed that. He valued most the kinds of skills Goff has over Wentz.
People assume, well he had McNair, he must like that kind of qb. But it's not as though when they took McNair there was another option who was different they could have taken at the same spot instead. McNair was just the best guy, regardless. So they took the best guy.
When he DID have a choice he took the quy with the quick release and more pinpoint accuracy.
His goal---and he directly said this to Mike Silver BEFORE the draft---was a qb like Brady who gets the ball out so quickly it negates the rush, and also throws it accurately.
He directly said he loved Wentz but Goff was his guy.
I think the problem, then, is assuming that Wentz was his kind of guy. He himself shot that idea down.
And here's the thing about Goff---he's not only behind Wentz in terms of years, he's behind Wentz in terms of development. The Air Raid system at Cal is famous for setting qbs behind when it comes to being ready to play in the pros. That is said of a lot of spread offenses but it's particularly true of the Air Raid offense (and that is even though the Cal version is a variant). Wentz played in a pro style system. So they were night and day in terms of their development.
So that's one thing Goff DOES share with McNair. They both came out of college very behind with a lot of developing ahead of them. That just shows they weren't afraid of that. Developing slow was just the way they knew with a guy like that.
When Goff catches up with Wentz the contrast in their styles will be more clear. Goff just has far more refined arm talent and makes passes Wentz can never make--beauties. Sometimes it';s subtle. So if Wentz is this big burley fireman, Goff is a surgeon.
And to reinforce all this that is basically what Fisher said he wanted. He wanted the surgeon.
