Dare we get to enjoy another tie? Raiders and Bucs game just hit the two minute warning in OT.

Guys, I'm not usually optimistic but we are only 1 game out of the 2nd wild card, tied with AZ. (sorta), N.O. and Bucs and behind GB, Phil, Giants, and Redskins. (I think I have that right) . Now we all know that AZ is done, stick a fork in them. Seattle is iffy but shouldn't need a wild card, either GB or Minnesota should be a wild card. Giants will tank, so as I see it that second wild card is either us, Eagles or Skins. OF COURSE NONE OF THIS MATTERS WITHOUT GOFF.

WAIT, I forgot, we have a F***ing tough schedule left. (here comes the pessimist in me)

Seattles offense is awful. I've been saying for years that Russell Wilson is nothing without his legs. The dude is average as can be. I believe their luck is finally running out. If Goff comes in I don't see any reason we can't win the division. I think 9-7 takes it.

Must games would be Seattle, Miami, Panthers and NO, Jets are a gimme. Can't believe we lose 2 to 49ers. No way we beat NE or Atlanta. We "could be" 10 - 6, maybe 9- 6. But it ain't gonna happen with Keenum.

Oakland pulled that out but I doubt anybody is happy with their teams performance today. Utter garbage good thing they played Tampa who's winless at home this year.

Nice day for the idle Rams. Seahawks lost, 25-20, to the Saints, the Rams' Week 12 opponent, to fall to 4-2-1. Cardinals lost, 30-20, to the Panthers, who come to LA next Sunday, to fall to 3-4-1. Rams (3-4) have a nice opportunity to gain some ground coming out of their bye. Their next four opponents -- Panthers, Jets, Dolphins, Saints, respectively -- a combined 11-18.

Josh Weinfuss/ESPN Staff Writer

Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer on what he said to the officials to earn a 15-yard unsportsmanlike-conduct penalty early in the fourth quarter: "All I said was, "Are you ‘freaking' kidding me? That's three flags in a row." Then he took his hat off and threw another one. I have to keep my composure there. I have said a lot worse to refs without getting flagged. I let the frustrations of some of the penalties that they were calling affect me and I lost my cool. And I can't do that."

Cam Newton wants to talk to Roger Goodell about “horsecrap” hits

Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was relieved to get a win.

But he’s also tired of not getting the calls other quarterbacks get.

Newton was angry about a low hit by Cardinals defensive tackle Calais Campbell, and when asked about the hit initially, replied: “I’m speechless, . . . Next question.”

But when pressed, it was clear he feels like he’s not getting calls others might.

It’s really taking the fun out of the game for me,” Newton said , via Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer. “At times I don’t even feel safe. And enough is enough. I plan on talking to commissioner [Roger] Goodell about this. And I don’t know what I have to do.”

While Newton takes a number of shots when he was on the run, the one that drew his ire Sunday was inside the pocket, and he went down awkwardly after Campbell hit him between the knee and ankle. He was angry on the field, especially after watching it on replay.

“I don’t think there’s a person that can go through what I go through and still keep their heads,” he said. “Hits to the head, that’s one thing. But when you’re not protected in the pocket, that’s another thing.

“The story of my life ever since I came in is, ‘Oh, oh, well, we missed that one. I’m sorry. I’ll try to get it.’ That’s bullcrap. As a player in this league if we do something stupid we get fined. If you do something derogatory to somebody else, we get fined. I just can’t keep accepting, ‘Oh, we missed that one.’ Or ‘I apologize for doing that.’ Or ‘I didn’t see it.’ That’s horsecrap.’ . . .

“When I see other guys get calls, they don’t have to be no MVP. They don’t have to be this, that and the third of being this type of tier of a player. I look at how they get hit and for every hit that they get that’s called, I can match a hit in my career that I didn’t get called.

“I know people will probably take what I’m saying, some people will take it out of context, but you just have to look back and look at it from my vantage point. I play this game one way. I’m no different than anybody else. I’m trying to win football games.”

Newton has been looking for more help from officials for some time, and said last year that referee Ed Hochuli told him he was “not old enough” to get certain calls. His beef about certain hits is mitigated by the fact that when he’s running, he’s usually bigger than the guy chasing him. But he admitted a moment of fear that Campbell had injured him, and he’s clearly tired of taking that abuse.

So with Cam Newton flapping his gums about not getting calls, means the flags will be flying against the Rams next week

Le sigh

Was GREAT to see the seahawks lose ... for SO MANY reasons! One of them being watching Pete Carrol make a fool of himself once again on the sideline.

I honestly forget. Did we have a chance to trade for Cousins in the past?

In February of 2014 Cousins said he was open to being traded from the Redskins but they kept him instead. Maybe there weren't any good enough offers. Who knows? Early in that season RGIII was injured and Cousins became the starter.
