Well, it's back to basics with the Houston game as Texas is known for beef so to amend Clara Peller's famous line...HERE'S THE BEEF! Tomahawk Steak with asparagus & mushrooms.

Think we're going to do steak/chicken fajitas with a side of beans/lettuce and chips/salsa. And if we're not beating the lowly Texans by at least 14 at halftime probably a 12 pack of something for dessert.

I've decided on smoking some pork belly marinated in Korean BBQ sauce.

Not sure what else yet. Maybe some level 10 hot boiled peanuts.

Usually I jus talk around it and hope for an invitation. Sometimes I will ask; and, occasionally, I may beg.

Screw that! If I can figure out your address, I am showing-up!!

Hol up there. I remember her too, so I guess that makes me old too. But I thought you’re supposed to be forgetting shit when you’re old.

Farm fresh eggs(we have about 50 chickens) not sure what the configuration will be, probably some kind of scramble with peppers and onions grown in our garden and salsa.

Coffee and a Bloody Mary

Afternoon hamburgers from the steer we just had butchered. Fries with sriracha ranch dip and a couple of beers from a local brewery.

Its a 10 AM game so I'll likely have my low carb breakfast burrito again. Eggs, sausage, bacon, cheese and salsa. I use the bigger Mission brand low carb wheat tortillas. Those things are really good. I love going low carb. The only thing better than meat and potatoes is meat and more meat. :sunglasses:

Why do I open this thread? It’s torture with all these good eats.

Every game this year, for whatever reason, I’m a total wreck watching games and couldn’t eat if I wanted to.

Plus, I jinx the team if I do plan a good meal…

That tomahawk steak… dammit… looks so good…

I am thinking a crockpot of ham and beans. And… homemade cornbread.

It’s supposed to rain all day here, high of 60… So the crockpot sounds cozy.

I need something spicy and/or meaty for snacking around that… hmm…

might as well make it cajun red beans and rice. You already have the base

Clock changes here in Ireland tonight so it's a 5PM start time for me, excited about that. I'm debating just ordering a pizza for this one since I can probably order around the 2 minute warning and get it right in the middle of halftime. I also may opt to make some calzones instead since I got almost everything I need aside from eggs. Tomorrow is supposed to be raining pretty much all day though, so I don't know how motivated I'll be to run down to the shops.

That sounds good, actually.

I got navy beans for this one… so white beans. Carrots, celery, onion, broth, ketchup, dash cayenne, salt, pepper, ham… thats about it….

I got a spicy honey garlic sauce to put on some wings.

And a 7 layer dip.

Thats my Sunday mash up. (y)

If it makes you feel any better, I cannot eat during the game either, plenty of drinking, whether they're playing good or bad, however, after the game regardless I will always partake in a fine Sunday meal.

I've changed it up during games, no more drinking, usually try to jump on the treadmill & bike, plus sit-ups & pushups to relieve the stress. So afterwards, I'm pretty hungry.
