Fisher not pleased with Booger either.

Watching game film Monday didn’t change Fisher’s mind about the 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown by Chris Givens that was called back because of a holding penalty on Rodney McLeod. Fisher reamins upset with the call.

“You know there’s three holdings on (the Jets’) first kickoff (return) that aren’t called,” Fisher. “And all three of ‘em were more egregious than the one that was called. I’ll just leave it at that.”

True. That was a stupid call.

I think maybe we are seeing WHY the owners held out ,these guys aren't much if any better than the proxy refs. and much of the furor was just a generated feeding frenzy.

Watching the Bronco game Sunday,I was pretty critical of the reffing in that game as well.

The ONE redeeming thing we can take from this is, Fishers evaluation of that crew will hurt their playoff consideration, maybe not as much as they did ours but still.

Jermoe Boger has been a pain in the Rams side at other key games in our past as well, perhaps most recently and most notably our loss to the Seahags in 2010 that kept us out of the playoffs. I posted about it at the following: viewtopic.php?p=88571#p88571
