This morning Eric Sheppard was arrested at an address in Tampa, Fla. without incident. Eric Sheppard has been taken to the Hillsborough County Jail where he will have an extradition hearing in the near future. Eric Shepherd will eventually be returned to Lowndes County for court regarding the warrant issued here.

Since the issuance of an arrest warrant for Eric Sheppard, deputies and investigators with the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office have actively been seeking him for arrest. After it was determined that Eric Shepherd had most likely fled Lowndes County, deputies sought the assistance of the United States Marshalls from the South East Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force.

Flag-stomping fugitive Eric Sheppard threatens to kill police, whites, and others in manifesto

On April 17, Valdosta State University student protester Eric Sheppard made headlines when he was caught on video wrestling with Air Force veteran Michelle Manhart for an American flag he and other demonstrators had been stomping on.

A few days later, police found an abandoned backpack allegedly belonging to Sheppard with a handgun inside. Authorities issued an arrest warrant charging him with a felony for bringing a weapon into a school safety zone. According to reports, Sheppard was also being investigated by the FBI for making terrorist threats on social media.

Almost a month later, Sheppard is still on the run. But that hasn't stopped him from threatening police, and all white people, including women and babies. A few days ago, Sheppard sent a rambling manifesto accompanied by a short video to the Valdosta Daily Times.

From the manifesto:

Many still question the possibility of my surrendering to the people who call themselves "authorities". To Give you a Simple Answer,

No! I will Not Turn Myself Over to Any White Man and I will Ensure this With my Own Will to Self-Defend and To Annihilate those Who Come After Me. These same people who you all know as "legal officials/police officers/sheriff/detectives" or any other falsified label of 'authority' only know wickedness and devilish behavior.

You Cannot Escape this Divine Judgement.
