Damn shame. He was one of the best to ever do it. RIP.

I grew up on I, II, DD and 1984. Rock in Peace.

2020, it's the last quarter of the year already, pretend you're the Falcons.

Fuck.

Eddie is an icon.
He defeated the almost impossible, by separating himself from any other guitar player in the world. When Eddie picked up an axe, it was immediately recognized.
Nobody sounds like him.
He was simply amazing.

This really sucks.

As I mentioned in another thread...my first concert at 13 years old was Van Halen 1981 Fair Warning Tour. Completely changed my life...the pure power of Eddie's guitar ran through my whole body and soul. I don't get emotional when celebs die, but for some reason this one choked me up.....way too young. So fucking incredibly talented....got to play with his son...how cool is that? Heartbreaking post from Wolf announcing the passing. So fucking sad!
