Figured I'd reach out and check, anyone out there try to negotiate a free year this year?
I've gotten the ticket free the last 3 years but haven't made my annual call yet.

I haven't seen the ticket offered for free to new subscribers, so I'm not feeling too confident...

I haven't yet, but like you have made that call for years now. I'm a little nervous with it since AT&T took over.

They're not really advertising it, but the free NFL Sunday ticket for new subscribers is still an offer. It's on the DirecTV website.

I cancelled mine. with the team doing so good last year and based on when they play vs when the whiners play I should get all but 4 games on my local channels. have to find a place to watch the other 4.

may try to stream those.

The last time I got it free was during the recession. I think I got it for, like 50% off, for two years. Then, when the economy improved, they basically told me to pound salt. I escalated to no avail.

You you offer sexual favors to the DirecTV Rep or something?

NFL Game Pasd is $99.99

I switched to Game pass because I am at my kids PeeWee league games every Sunday, through mid November. So I watch recorded Rams games anyway. I’ll save some money to boot.

BTW I have never been able to get Sunday ticket for free. The best I got was a 50% discount, two separate years. I have had it since 2006 and tried every year for the last 8, to get a discount. They never budge. They just try to talk me into other options like Premium movie channels to get any type of discount. It always cancelled out. I think they thought I was dumb.

This year I went straight to cancellation and they didn’t try to retain me at all. The guy just said Okay, if you are interested in it in the future let us know.

Ive been with them 10 plus years and only got it free the first year. I called and threatened to cancel this year for the first time. Had to talk to like 3 different people and waste over an hour on the phone but I got my bill cut back some for two years and got sunday ticket free this year. Im sure they didn't mind doing it for me since ive spent thousands on sunday ticket the last decade plus.

Game pass is a 45 minute delay start after the end of the game.

Thanks... I want to watch it live so that wouldn't do... I'd have to disable all possible sources of score updates on my phone.

My buddy got it hooked up at his house and got the Sunday ticket for free.

Looks like I'll be streaming again this year for live games and using my gamepass subscription to rewatch the game during the week.

I have it.
I tried that in the past, they just gave me the finger.
So I have not tried it since.

Just got it back after about a year. I paid $17 per month last time. But my new apartment didn’t allow a dish so I switched my name to my dads into his house. I ordered it again this year and told them from the get go I was only in it for the NFL ticket. $52 per month for all the channels plus the ticket.
