So my fam and I will be heading out on our first cruise this coming weekend. Leaving from Long Beach to Catalina Island then to Ensenada, MX. I'm kind of nervous about the whole ordeal and am wondering if any of y'all have any tips, comments, advice for us. Will most definitely post up pics when we get back.

*how fitting that it's "shark week" . Lol. Just what I need right now

Have no advice to speak of but have a great time and stay safe.

When I was around 10 we lived in El Cajon, CA and my dad would take me with him about once a month to Tijuana. He loved to gamble so it was the dog races, jai alai, and bull fights plus bringing bottles of Tequila back with us. Those are my memories of Mexico. Yeah, pretty much a debauched childhood, lol.

Eat all your meals in the MDR if you are concerned about the quality. Coffee sucks on cruise ships unless they have a coffee shop where you pay for it. Other than that, have fun with the family. BTW we've done 3.
