I have some real " Golden Oldies" for you today! Starting with FB - 'Deacon' Dan Towler: (1950-55)

He got the nick name 'Deacon' because he studied for the Ministry. And after football he became one!

He rushed 672 times for the Rams for 3493 Yds. and 43 TD's, an aver. of 5.2!!

He also had 62 receptions for 650 Yds. and 1 TD.

He also had 2 TD's in his 5 Playoff games.

He went to 5 Pro Bowls and ..

He was named an All Pro in 1952!

Next "Big Name!" LB - Jack Pardee: (1957-70)

Jack played for us for 13 Season, and really made a name for himself!

He played in 169 Games!

And in those games he had 17 Int's for 247 Yds. and $ TD's, and 14 FR's for 49 Yds. and a TD!

In case your wondering this^ is the Back of Coach George Allen's Head!

Jack did play with a Pretty good D-Line Too!! (The Fearsome-Foursome!)

Can you just imagine IF the front 4 didn't get you, you had Jack to contend with!

We're Just getting started, Next up, RB - Cullen Bryant: (1973-82)

He Gave us 134 REALLY great games!

rushing 802 times for 3119 Yds. and 20 TD's an aver. of 3.9

In 14 Playoff games he had548 total Yds. and 2 TD's

Don't forget SB XXIV!

And he did have 142 Receptions for 1148 Yds. and 3 TD's

We could see a similar article to this^, This Year!

There's nothing like Busting one wide-open against the Vikes!

He also had 400+ Yds in KR's and PR's!

He had 3 really long KR's of 93-84 and 90 Yards! Not a Bad RB!

He also had 278 Tackles and 2 Sacks!

Next, from the GSOT, CB - Dre' Bly: ( 1999-2002)

He had 14 Int's for 247 Yds. and 3 TD's to go with 4 FR's for 48 Yds. and 1 TD

He also had 500+ Yds. in KR and PR's and 1 TD

He played in 7 Playoff games, and made the Pro Bowl Twice!


Next up CB - Bradley Fletcher: (2009-12)

He had 5 Int's and @ FR's with us

and 140 Tackles.

He played in 1 playoff game where ..

He had 1 Int.

And, my last for the day, CB - Brandon McGee: (2013-Present)

I'm not sure if he can hang onto another year Here!

Cullen Bryant...I think I was there when he returned a kickoff...At least I'm sure I watched it on TV...ahahah...But he was a large man to return KO.....and was moving pretty fast...
Damn McGee has a hard rep to live up to.....No wonder he's having such bad luck with injuries....Gotta cut him some slack @den-the-coach !!!!!
Dre Bly....think he had a crucial error in a playoff or superbowl...missed tackle or penalty? But I really liked his game...Never turned into the shutdown corner I thought his talent SAYS he shoulda been....Getting close to my second favorite Ram...and the reason I wasn't really mad the Bus left...Shame to hear Buses story about the Rams...Georgia sure could take the fire outta a man. Hell, the whole team.

OK! He mostly wore #24, But he started with the Rams wearing #32!

He was Drafted by the Rams in the 2nd Round , #50 overall in 2005.

In his 7 seasons he played in 89 games and had 8 Int's for 102 Yds. and 1 TD. w/ a long of 38 Yds.

He also had 57 Passes defended / 9 FF's / 3 FR'sfor 7 Yds. / and 2 sacks. In 2006 He ran 1 Int. back for a TD!

Dre Bly....think he had a crucial error in a playoff or superbowl...missed tackle or penalty? But I really liked his game.

What I remember is the Super Bowl. The final drive that ended in "the play" could have ended a lot more decisively if Bly would have hung on to that ball.

*Edit: clarification. Bly stepped in front of a pass 2-3 plays (?) before "the play" but dropped an easy pick. My cynical Ram side said, "that will come back to haunt us". Thankfully it didn't.

Yes, @So Ram (and Magic!) Troy Hill is still hanging in there. It is going to be tough for him to make the team, but even with the star-studded CB corps the Rams have assembled, every team needs good young cornerbacks to provide depth.
