Today I'll start with DB/return Man - Woodley Lewis: (1950-55)

As a DB he had 23 Int's for 416 Yds. and 1 TD, and 5 FR's for 56 Yds. and 1 TD.

BUT! to me he really came into his own as a Return Man, 107 PR's for817 Yds. and 3 TD's, an aver. of 7.6. And 108 KR's for 2575 Yds. and 1 TD an aver. of 23.8!
He also played in 5 playoff games and had an aver. KR of 28.4 in them, with 1 TD!


Next, Because Kickers need love too! K - Bruce Gossett: (1964-69)

He was a 2 time Pro bowler as a Kicker ( 1966 & 1968)


Now the Man I know a lot of you are looking for, RB Lawrence McCutchen: (1972-79)

8 Pretty good Seasons here!

He rushed 1435 times for 6186 Yds.and 23 TD's an aver. of 4.3

He also had 184 receptions for 1683 Yds. and 12 TD's
an aver. of 9.1.

He played in 11 Playoff games, where he ...

Rushed 173 times for 687 Yds. and 2 TD's a 4.0 aver.
and he had 17 receptions for 150 Yds.

You could never bring him down Tackling this^ high!

IDK if 'Jaw's' handed off here or not!

Lawrence also Passed - 1 for 1 in SB XXIV for the ONLY Rams passing TD of the game!

McCutchen is now on our Teams National Scouting Team!

Next up,( NO I'm not ending with Larry!) we have FB - Barry Redden: 1982-86)

Barry rushed 325 times for 1490 Yds. and 6 TD's an aver. of 4.6, Not bad for a FB huh! How would you like to get that from a FB today!?!

He also had 56 receptions for 464 Yds. and 1 TD, an aver. of 8.3

He also had 64 KR's for 1390 Yds an aver. of 21.7!!
In 1982 he had a return for 85 Yards!

He also played in 6 Playoff games.


OK, this is my last for the day, before I bore-you-to-death!
RB Zac Stacy2013-14)

He rushed 326 time for 1266 Yds. and 8 TD's an aver. of 3.9

And he had 44 receptions for 293 Yds. and 1 TD

he had lots of promise.

I liked him

But he saw the hand-writing on the wall when we Drafted Gurley!

When he broke onto the scene in 73 I was a bright-eyed and bushy-tailed 12 year old living in Jersey sitting in front of the TV on Monday Nights waiting for Howard Cosell’s half time show hoping that he would show some RAMS highlights from Sundays games. That’s when #30 caught my eye and the man crush began.

He is one of my all-time favorite RAMS. Like DaveFan’51 said…Let us not forget he threw the only TD pass for the RAMS in SB XIV.

Mickey Sutton DB 1986-88 & 1990
Sutton ended his career wearing #30 for the RAMS in 1990, he wore #49 in 86-90

Vernon Turner KR/PR 1991-92
Turner went on to play for the Lions and Buccaneers

Terry Fair DB 2005
Fair ended his career with the RAMS in 05 wearing #30

Nate Ness DB 2011
Ness now plays for the Lions

Chase Reynolds RB 2012-
Reynolds wore #30 his rookie year and is now wearing #34

He also had 21 Rec's for 188 Yds./ a 9.0 aver. w/ a long of 31 Yds. and 3 Fumbles!

He was Rookie of the year and went to the Pro Bowl and of course he made the Leagues top 100 Players as picked by the Players and ranked waaaay up there!
NOW THAT HE HAS HIS LEGS UNDER HIM, THE SKI'S THE LIMIT!!

* RB - Harold Green - 1996

In his 16 games with us he had 127 Rushes for 523 Yds./ 4 TD's/ a long of 35 Yds. and a 4.1 aver./ he also had 58 Targets w/ 37 Rec's for 246 Yds. / a 6.6 aver./ and 1 TD w/ a long of 19 Yds. and 2 Fumbles and 1 FR.

* DB - Mickey Sutton - 1986-1988

In his 4 season he played 50 games and had 45 PR's for 420 Yds./ a long of 46 Yds./ a 9.4 aver./ and 9 KR's for 169 Yds./ a long of 25 Yds./ a 18.8 aver./ and 4 Int's for 30 Yds.
In 2 Playoff games he totaled 1 PR for 14 Yds. and 2 KR's for 37 Yds. w/ a long of 20 Yds./ a 18.5 aver.

Finally:
* WR/RB - Vernon Turner -1991-1992

I was 8 in 1974 in Brooklyn, NY when I became a McCutcheon/Ram fan like yourself. Wonder why there is HUGE number of Gen X/East Coast Ram fans like us.

We all got "Hooked on the Horns" that's the main reason I became a RAMS fan at 9 years old. My older brothers were Jets and Giants fans and I was being rebellious. Saw a picture of the helmet first then saw Gabriel throw a TD to Snow and that sealed the deal.

I was just thinking, I know my Wife always say OH!NO! when I say that, And I'm going to piss a lot people off when I say this!! But Read My Words Carefully!!
I go back a long Time, and my Late twin Brother was a HUGE Raider Fan!! He would agree with me!! I have not and never will consider the Raiders a L.A. Team PERIOD!!! They are the " Oakland Raiders, always have been always will be!!
If you go back to the 1970's and look at the Raiders and the Rams in that time period. You will never look at the Raiders as a L.A. Team!!! Just my, not so Humble opinion!! Soooooo! Don't count any Raider as a Top L.A. RB of all time!!!!!
