Actually he said 70 catches after the draft. He upped it to 100 catches after the raiders pre-season game.

Wide receiver Cooper Kupp had 3.17 yards per route run. No rookie receiver in the last 12 years ran more routes than Kupp and had more yards per route run.

The surprise is that he got 76 yards on 4 catches for 19 YPC. Earlier predictions were much lower in the 10-12 range IIRC working short routes. He looks really good in the those mid routes and getting some YAC. The 100 number of catches is just TV stuff. I like the mid route running with higher YPC. I'll take 60-70 catches at 15 YPC and 8-10 TD.

No doubt. McVay spreads it around way too much for him to get 100, and if that happens it'll be a bad deal, meaning the other guys aren't getting it done or that Goff is over-focusing on him.

70 is about right. Plus or minus about 10. So maybe 65 +/-10 is where I'm at. Either way, though, he's going to be a huge factor in a lot of Rams wins.
