Great job D.

Great Job Wolford.

Same issues haunt us, Oline issues and dropped passes, but we got it done and are in the dance.
Rams power run game will improve with the addition of Andrew Whitworth

Wolford has all the tools. Goff needs to learn from this cat. He did exceptionally well considering the circumstances.

Come on, dude. Hell of a job by Wolford to do enough to get the W, but we scored 9 offensive points against Arizona. Goff led us to 31 offensive points last time we played and threw for 350 yards. All the respect in the world to Wolford for stepping up in such a pivotal game (especially in his first NFL snaps). But he ain't Goff.

Playoff baby! I love it. January Rams football again. Hey Seattle, we're coming for you...
There's that ugly Motherfucker. It's always a good day to see him dancing. Defense played great. And Wolfman Wolford did his job. Ugly, ugly win. But a win none the less, Dance you ugly son of a bitch.

Wait a minute. Where did I doubt? I looked at this game with what we had and Wolford got us a W.

Look at my previous post. I am happy dude.

Just got out of the hospital on Tuesday. I felt good about Wolford, I have all season. He managed the game well, made plays when he had to, and only really made one mistake that he worked off. It was as good of a performance that could be expected of any first-time starter. His mobility definitely caught the Cards by surprise even though they supposedly had hundreds of plays by Wolford.

But make no mistake there are some serious issues on the offense that have more to do with scheme than players. Sean needs to begin to transition to a power run game. There is no question in my mind he will do so next year.

The playoffs are a whole new season. Anything can happen. In the playoffs IMO you are better off with an elite defense which the Rams have. NFL you have been warned.

But to be fair Jrry32, it would have been tuff for Goff to score 30 when we can't run the ball, Receivers dropping TDs and the Oline playing like crap. Not to mention all the offensive penalties.

Part of the reason we couldn't run the ball was because the Cardinals were selling out to stop it and daring Wolford to beat us. They wouldn't have defended Goff the same way. I can't say what Goff would or wouldn't have done today. And I don't want to criticize Wolford. He stepped up and did his job. But I know what I saw from Goff against Arizona the last time we played. That defense had no answer for our passing game.

I think it would be nice if we were just happy with the win and didn't pit our QB's against each other, let's thank the football Gods our back up QB is decent and got the job done and pray to them that our #1 Goff is ready to go next week

Very Nice!!!
We get at least 1 playoff game.
I'm happy!

In the ROD sportsbook I purposely bet about $100,000 dollars that the Cardinals would win, and the Bears would win.

Because if we somehow lost today, I at least wanted to rake in the fake cash on ROD.
But if we won, which we DID, I'd get to see my Rams in the playoffs again, and no amount of ROD dollars is worth not being in the playoffs.

In other words I didn't want to be bummed about both things. I placed my bets so that I'd succeed at one or the other.

Nice Win Rams Defense and Wolford!!!

I'm of the opinion that teams have been selling out on the run for a while. Shanny mentioned this in the 2nd game vs the 49ers. He said you want to stop the Rams run game. I feel most teams would rather have Goff beat them then our run game. My point is that the O didn't do Wolford any favors and I don't see how Goff would have had lead them to 30 pts.
