That's all in the thread I stickied, but thanks for pasting all of that. The thing that's been jumping out to me as I've been following the practice today, is that Helmick is impressing EVERYBODY. I realize it's only practice, but I'm pretty stoked that my underdog is lighting it up early.

They eliminated that, I thought. One more player is allowed to be active on the gameday roster, thus eliminating the tag for emergency QB.

Couple random notes and observations.

Tavon is faster than I expected. He blew by Finnegan at one point and caught about a 25yd pass from Bradford. He was so far down the field from Finnegan he would have gone as far as he wanted.

Steadman Bailey did the same thing to TJ McDonald on the next play.

At one point during drills, Robert Quinn flattened Jake Long onto his back.

Givens was getting open left and right.

Janoris Jenkins looked great, and you can really tell he has worked on better routes this offseason. Was one of the only secondary guys who could keep up with Givens effectively.

Richardson really showed his speed and had some breakout plays for good yards.

Michael Helmick (WR) out of Lindenwood had a really, really good day. Made some great catches and ran some great routes.

The Rams really did a great job with today's camp. It was truly an event, as opposed to a boring training camp. Highly recommend everyone to check it out.
