Touching. Bernie is far from my favorite sports writer, but I give him credit for being able to talk about his mother like that and being able to keep his composure. I would have been crying like a baby. Hell , I almost cried just listening to Bernie.

This is very hard to get over, I found that out in 2007 when I lost my mother.
I lost my Father when I was 24, so I have had to deal without my parents for a while.

You have my sincere sympathy Bernie. I am sorry to hear of your loss.
