For those who skip down to their state, it's based off of the amount and overall score of Trip Advisor reviews.

Which makes sense because the 2 times that I've been into this pizza place it was mainly tourists/out of towners. The pizza is good, but I wouldn't say it's the best.

When traveling we always ask the locals where do YOU eat good food? Really can't go wrong with this question.

Andolini's in Tulsa is legit good. Their garlic knots are also top notch. Plus they have homemade gelato. Bit pricey on regular days, though. When I used to live there they would have Monday Night Football deals...2 large pizzas, knots, 2-liter for like 25 bucks.

Here in Houston there's Grimaldi's, also pretty expensive. I need to go to Old Chicago at some point.

There's a good selection of beer at Old Chicago.

Judging best pizza is a bit like judging who the prettiest girl is, both are impossible jobs when there are so many who are outstanding, at least in California.

Looks good CGI. I also highly recommend Pi's too.
Denver - Hops and Pie
Greater Sacramento - Zelda's (Chicago deep dish), old town pizza elk grove (California thinner crust, excellent combinations), Roma's (California style), and Masulo (Italian and thin crust) are all great.

I’m gonna call bullshit on Missouri. Missouri is basically split between the St.Louis Metro area and everyone else. I live in STLM. We eat Imos! Everyone else is crazy

Yeah that Paglia's or whatever it is in Cape is BS at least on a state level. I'm guessing typical college town reporting BS. Imos, CWs Monte Bello in South County are all great. For some reason I'm craving a MB pizza now and it doesn't have provel! :banghead:

What?! No Provel?! Then it’s soemthing completely different! I love Dog Town Pizza as well. I’ve only had the fresh stuff once. Now I buy it frozen from WalMart

Actually St. Louis style pizza does NOT have to have provel. Most do and I usually expect it but provel is not a defining characteristic. Don't misunderstand me I love provel and use it on what I make at home. Defining characteristics of St. Louis style pizza is thin crispy crust, toppings to the outside edge of crust and cut in squares.

MB uses spices in everything and their cheeses greatly mimic the creamy texture of provel. A good break from provel. Been a long time for me.
