[wrapimg=left]http://www.101espn.com/images/authors/medium/hbalzer.jpg[/wrapimg]The Rams now have two assistant coaches with NFL head coaching experience after the addition of Dave McGinnis as assistant head coach was made official Wednesday. A senior adviser last season with the Tennessee Titans, McGinnis has been an NFL coach for 26 seasons including three-plus years as head coach of the Arizona Cardinals.

Rams defensive coordinator Gregg Williams was a head coach with the Buffalo Bills.

McGinnis was together with new Rams coach Jeff Fisher for seven seasons in Tennessee. While it has been expected he would be rejoining Fisher, McGinnis didn’t hear from Fisher with a job offer until Monday after the coordinator search was wrapped up.

Whether McGinnis will also be involved with coaching a position will be determined as Fisher fills out his staff. McGinnis has been a linebackers coach with Tennessee and the Chicago Bears.

Said Fisher, “I feel very fortunate that we were able to bring Dave aboard. He’s been in a variety of roles in this league, from position coach all the way up to head coach. His vast knowledge and experience will be valuable assets to our staff, and I’m really excited to have the opportunity to work with Dave again.”

While working on his staff, Fisher opted not to attend the Senior Bowl this week. Newly hired defensive line coach Mike Waufle is believed to be the only Rams coach in Mobile.

Paul Boudreau is believed to have been hired as offensive line coach, while former Rams receiver Henry Ellard could return as receivers coach.

On the general manager front, Arizona player personnel director Steve Keim is expected to be interviewed this weekend. An interview has also been scheduled with Miami personnel director Brian Gaine for next week.

It’s also possible interviews will occur next week with Joey Clinkscales of the Jets and Tom Telesco of the Colts. Falcons personnel director Les Snead will likely receive a second interview.
