Very sad day indeed.
He said when he came out he envisioned playing 8 years.
We got 10.
He could easily play another 3 at a high level.
But, in fairness, no one knows the toll playing but especially his brutal workout schedule (with all that heavy lifting) has had on his body.
I am surprised he hung it up with the Rams heading in the right direction and help showing up on defense.
Was really holding out hope for another few years.
He can't be replaced.
You can replace the measurable stats, but, what other teams had to do to prepare and to offset the mismatch he presented can't be replaced.
Sad day indeed.

sometimes the best "scout" is a rival teams backup QB. could be much worse. how does russell "ragdoll" wilson sound as a clipboard holder?? i'll take Jimmy Crappolo over that. of course, if ole ragdoll was the practice QB, maybe AD99 returns for camp.
