The Rams overtook a team to be #1 Offense in the league....no not the KC Mahomes. The Buccaneers. KC is third.

Oh and KC is still virtually dead last in defense....

There are two players in the league averaging over 11 points a game scoring in the scoring leaders column. Nobody else is close to double digits.

One, of course, is our own TGIII.

The other?

Legatron.

The Rams are on pace to have 3- 1,000 yard receivers this year. Even Cooper Kupp, who missed those two games, will be around 1,100 yards at this pace...

I think it happens.

True. Talk about a surprising stat. I think they had those early Fitzmagic games, too, and jumped out to a big lead.

They added to it with Rapies Winston though.........losing games because of his turnovers but it made for A LOT of passing.

I love seeing him make a fool out of himself and fail on the field. He totally deserves it after what he did to that girl in college.

I liked reading stats. Couldn't wait back in the day to see the defense and offensive stats in the Sunday Newspaper. In the later 60's they were always up there near the top, at least on defense. I still like stats I'm more interested in points and wins. At 8-1 Rams are doing great. However, they do need to score more TDs over FGs.

That would be a very cool stat.

This is what Koetter was at Arizona State. Pass pass pass. Not a lot of blocking, no run game and bad defense.

Corey Littleton has quietly become one of the most exciting, productive players in the league, currently #4 in tackles, to go along with and impressive 9 passes defended, one interception, and of course....

two blocked punts, (and counting) including one for a safety. (y)

The System, Jared Goff, currently leads all STARTING quarterbacks with an impressive 9.6 yards per pass, nearly a half-yard more than phenom Patrick Mahomes.

In fairness, both players benefit from an offense that opens up lanes for screens to go a long way, but I bet if it were analyzed, our man Jared Goff probably works harder for those incredible 15-30 yard strikes, with very little RAC.

Agree. It's only my opinion here but I believe that Cory Littleton will have a bigger impact in this defense starting at the Mark Barron post. It would place him in a position to use his talents'.

Mark Barron is no longer able physically to be that playmaker in this defense. MB is not making the plays he has in the past by a far margin. When you consider that the Rams after this season are under contract to pay him close to $20 million for the 2019/2020 seasons. Unless Mark returns to his previous 2016 performance will be a cap casualty in March of 2019.

Wade also has a true MLB that was drafted in the 5th rd. of this past draft Micah Kiser 6ft/245 lbs who has a sturdy base and banger's frame & brings the hit missing in this pressent defense. The Rams other two ILB'ers Ramik Wilson & Bryce Hager will be UFA's in March.

I do want to see what Kiser has to offer. I still think most of our near-future starters are currently on our roster.

Yeah but someone put up a 3rd down stat. The chiefs are first at stopping teams on 3rd down. The rams are last, by a wide margin. Until week 9 the offense was able to overcome it but it won't overcome 45 points very often, if at all.
