Maybe they should just increase the length of the snap to where he kicks it 55 yards. Doesn't he hit most of those?

Seriously though, I would like to see better accuracy from him. That said, we could do far worse.

Love affairs with Rams players are getting out of style for me. I no longer love me some Jared Cook and i've been done with GZ too.

You dont cut him obviously, but the idea to bring in a camp leg and let him kick during special teams practice is a good one. Make GZ watch this week, and use the free time to think about the fact that NFL stands for Not For Long.

His misses seem to come in bunches. I have been to several games and don't ever recall seeing him miss during warmups. Have seen him nail then from 60+ yards with plenty of room to spare, 3/4 of the way up the net.

This, to me, tells me the problem is between his ears, not in his leg. Which is why I mentioned a sports physcologist.

You think we should get a sports psycholgist to kick field goals for us?

If his leg is strong enough, or he could just kick GZ in the ass

That's an 85% "make-able conversion rate" (yes, I just made that up... I'm calling ESPN now for a job :D). Not that shabby. If misses from 55 or less continue, I'll worry.
Also add the perfect PATs to your conversion rate, factor in the good kickoffs, and you'll have a patented kicker rating system!

Now that the PATs aren't chip shots, could be on to something here.

I'm not sure clutch misses from 34 with the game very close..That was an important miss, even though the Rams went on to win...I'm not advocating ripping his throat out, but I am starting to get a little concerned about consistency

He would have made it from 65 with the game on the line, though.
