No doubt. It makes sense for them. Seems to me that they're a bit more focused on winning now rather than stockpiling young talent. Who can blame them? They've won 21 games in two seasons and are trying to win a playoff game.

They ARE getting old quick at a few key positions though....Fitzgerald, Palmer, Peterson(if signed), Cromartie, Frostee Rucker, Sendlein.

Peterson turns 30 later this month. That's a lot of wear and tear.

But he just had a full year of rest. Maybe he's turned into a fat slob.

In Palmer's own words it takes 2 years to be completely back from an ACL, physically and mentally. I agree.

That is the predicament with Bradford's double ACL. Hope he is a fast healer like Adrian Peterson.

For every Adrian Peterson, there a 4 players who take years to be back to normal. So fingers crossed.

AP looked pretty human against us in Week 1. There are flaws aplenty in his game, ball security and pass-pro being a couple big ones. If they really want to send away picks to MN (who will settle for nothing less than a 2nd rounder and change) , so be it.

I guess I'm more worried about a fully healed Mathieu and Darryl Washington coming back from suspension.
