I don't know if it's normal or what but after the first round (15 offensive players/ 16 defensive players), the draft went defensive until the last quarter of the third round. There were 22 defenders taken in the 2nd round to 9 on offense (plus a kicker). The third round with 3 comp picks saw 20 defenders come off and 15 from offense. The last 7 picks saw 5 offensive players go or it wouldn't have been that close.
