I had a brown transitor rado when I was a kid. I used a belt to hang it from my handle bars as I cruised around the neighborhood on the bike. I think it was this one, but I am not sure.

I still go on ebay from time to time looking to buy a set in good shape
Those trays freed us from a hot kitchen before central ac. We took our food to the living room with all of the curtains closed and a wall ac unit working it's ass off, while we watched tv. AC, TV trays changed our family's lives. So AC wall units were not a fad, but extremely important for quite a while.

Perms for guys, The Greatest American Hero look. Indeed I think I have destroyed all the evidence of that look.

Puka shell necklaces are a Hawaiian thing Brudda. Maybe they became a fade on the Mainland in the 70's? I don't know... but I rocked a badass Puka necklace throughout the entire 70's growing up in The 808.

Most of them I see here on the Mainland nowadays are fake. Made out of something other than a real Puka shell. BTW... Puka is Hawaiian for Hole. I would rock one today if I could find a cool real one. I do wear a traditional Hawaiian fish hook necklace carved out of a whale bone tied on what the old time Hawaiians used for fishing line to this day though.
