I wonder who we target at 23?
Wish we had a 2nd to grab Armstrong, he'll be gone by our 3rd.

We need to strongly consider trading back. The following 2 trades will give us valuable R2/R3 picks for our middle defense:
Trade 1: R1.23 for R2.37/R3.72
Trade 2: R2.37 for R2.52/R3.88
Keep: R3.87

R2.52 - Tim Settle - NT - VT
R3.72 - Duke Ejiofor - OLB - WF
R3.87 - Lorenzo Carter - OLB - GA
R3.88 - Micah Kiser - ILB - UVA

I sort of expect a track back from 23 also.

Draft value chart says Rams pick #23 is worth 760 points.

Approx value trades:

We could trade our 1st rounder (760 points) for the Bills two 2nd round picks, #21 and #24 in second rd. (370 plus 340 = 710 points).

Carolina’s second rounder plus two 3rd rounders would be roughly equal in value, as well.

Seems pretty rare for a team to trade away its lone first rounder for lower picks. Then again, Rams had a monster draft last year without one (Everett, Johnson, Kupp, Ebukam, Smart)

We need to let Free Agency shake out before we see where our holes are.

Would be nice to not have to immediately fill NT, ILB or center with a rookie.

I'm confident we can get our center or OLB at our #23 pick, but if we want a dominating NT or ILB we will need to move up from the looks of it.

If we could get one more dominant defensive player it would be lights out for the NFL (Vea, Payne, Evans, Smith)

I'm hoping the Jets move back in to the first to grab a QB at 23.
They send the Rams #37 and #49

I think at least one or two of the 6ths could be sweeteners on a trade back scenario. Basically, we give them up in a trade back to make it happen.

I noticed that too. They missed it on their update since they just included Round 4 Pick 11 today. They'll eventually get around to correcting it. In any case, here is my first draft with the "updated" order:

Round 1 Pick 23: Ridley, Calvin, WR, Alabama (A+)
Round 3 Pick 23: Settle, Tim, DT, Virginia Tech (A)
Round 4 Pick 11: Thomas, Chad, DE, Miami (FL) (A+)
Round 4 Pick 35: Avery, Genard, ILB, Memphis (A)
Round 6 Pick 2: Flowers, Dimitri, FB, Oklahoma (A+)
Round 6 Pick 9: Demby, Jamil, OG, Maine (A+)
Round 6 Pick 20: Conklin, Tyler, TE, Central Michigan (A+)
Round 6 Pick 21: Sieler, Zach, DE, Ferris State (A+)
Round 6 Pick 24: Robertson, Korey, WR, Southern Miss (A+)
Round 6 Pick 35: Smith, Ito, RB, Southern Miss (A+)
