Small observation for some of the older guys.

The Al Clark photo from above. I would bet that is from the 1973 pre-season.

When the Rams changed their uniforms for that season, the initial player photos reflected numerals that had a white border. However, when the season started the white outline/border was not there.

I always have wondered about this. The game photo of Clark above is the first time I recall seeing the white border in a game photo.

As I type this, I realize I may need to get-a-life.
