Depends.
Choices have to be made.
Letting McLeod go was a bummer but they have other talent at S and it made more sense to keep Quinn for example.
This is not as irritating as the we drafted this guy not that guy but sort of similar.

CB Trumaine Johnson, WR Tavon Austin and ILB Mark Barron are all among the highest-paid players at their position at salaries they almost certainly would not command on the open market.

DL Aaron Donald is the 49th highest-paid inside defensive lineman in the NFL in 2017 being paid less than $2m this year at a salary he certainly certainly would outearn on the open market.

CB TruJo- Rams made poor judgement on both him and JJ. No excuse they really screwed this up.

WR-Tavon Austin- Rams seemed desperate to keep what little offensive productive players they had.

Hybrid Lber- A newer popular position which Barron was one of the best. D Co Williams wanted to keep him even at over paying a little bid. ( 2.5 Million per year)

DT-A Donald- Rams are in a hard situation. They need to pay him but, not over pay either. That's why it could take awhile. Rams still have more leverage at this time. Hopefully, each side can give a little and come to an agreement.

Bunch of greedy asshats all of them.

As for Jenkins, he was not worth the money he got in the salary structure the league currently has.

TA got WAY too much money WTF were they thinking, Demoff???????

Beckham is a moron and isn't not close to the best WR in the game.

Donald is showing he is more selfish than I thought possible and will en up being a cancer for the team. Bring on another decade of losing.

Donald has 2 years still left on his deal. Donald deserves a new deal and a raise. The Rams will give it to him when they get the numbers right and meet in the middle. This writer and others who just want to trash the Rams for being cheap and negligent are ignorant of the situation tbh.

Can we please stop reposting negative, one sided articles from turfshowtimes?

Those f'ers aren't Rams fans, just a bunch of miserable wannabe "sports journalist" trolls.
Misery loves company, and being a bitter fan is an easy, lazy hobby for some.

I thought they were still mad that the Rams moved from St Louis.

I think he's spot on. Mark Barron 11- Mil, M. Brockers 11- Mil, Tavon Austin 15- Mil, Trumaine 16.7 MIl ....... that's 1/3 of your salary cap going to just 4 players, and none of them are Pro-Bowlers.

Going back a little further Chris Long and James Laurinaitis.
