Another player I wish we had kept but our FO was too stubborn to keep players. Dre Bly was a productive CB for a few years until he landed with the Lions.

Loved that fucker! So so pissed when he went to the Lions. That was around the time I started becoming aware our front office was pretty iffy, later I realized that sucked donkey dick with no condom.

I follow Dre on Instagram and he a pretty cool guy. His son just got into Old Dominion to play ball.

Bly had a nice NFL career... 11 seasons, hard to believe only 4 with the Rams.

9 of those 11 seasons dude had 3+ interceptions. Four of those... 5+ interceptions...

Not bad (y)

Have to throw out a Cullen Bryant mention. Nine full seasons with the Rams. All playoff years. Starting FB for about half those years.

I screwed up.

Since I go back 50 years as a die hard Rams’ fan, I like to suggest players from the past.

I forgot Jack Pardee. Excellent LB and played about 14 seasons with the Rams. Only saw him as a very young fan when Gabriel, Deacon and Merlin had most of my attention.

George Allen took him to Washington in 1971, and he played in a Super Bowl before retiring. Coached for a long time. Head Coach in Washington and Houston.

Fourteen seasons with the Rams, mostly as a starter. Played behind the original Fearsome Foursome, and the second variation with players like Coy Bacon, Diron Talbert and Roger Brown ... Pardee deserves a mention.

Yup, us old timers remember Pardee and Bryant. Bryant probably wouldn't have done well with the 40 time but I remember someone saying he could run the 100 yard dash under 10 seconds. When he got a head of steam going he could run. Which is why they had him returning kicks.
