I know this is very late, but I wanted to share some of the highlights from my annual trip to STL for the Rams home opener. Its my 3rd straight year my friend Biggame1190 and I have made it out to the home opener and while this year's game didn't result in a dramatic W (like Skins & AZ), there were certainly some memorable moments that will make 2014's trip unforgettable.

A 8-minute video of our interactions with most of the Rams players as they walk from the Drury Inn parking garage across the street to the Ed before the game. In the description of the video I labeled the times we interacted with each player if you want to jump to specific player.

Saturday (9/6) we had the opportunity to take a private tour of the Rams training facility through some friends of ours. Here are some of my favorite moments:

#91 La flama blanca's locker (aka Chris Long's locker)

Rams indoor practice field. Got to run some routes and throw the pigskin. Easily my favorite part of the tour.

Just one of the multiple framed photos of Rams Pro Bowlers. There is a framed photo of each St. Louis Ram Pro Bowler.

Rams outdoor practice field. Wish I could have walked on the field, but that will be for another trip.

Me holding the Lombardi trophy. Shhhhhh (its the replica).

For you Greg The Leg fans.

Another argument for the blue and white throwbacks.

Photo op with Rams media reporters Casey Philips and Myles Simmons. Both went through the entire tour with us.

And for those out-of-towners I recommend the briskets from Sugarfire. Finger lickin' delicious BBQ w/great sauces (my favorite is the St. Louis sauce)

Good stuff man. Thanks for posting. Wish the outcome would have been better, but looks like you and Biggame had a good time regardless.

That's awesome, man. I was there that day and there's nothing like the opener.

I remembremember a smack talk video Biggame posted years ago when we played Philly.

Looks like amazing time, thanks for sharing.

Casey Philips! YES!

Did she smell good? Did you smell her hair?

She's actually hotter in person if you ask me ;). She was very nice during the tour and you can tell really works hard at her job.

Yeah, that was kind of a downer. The 2 home openers prior though have been AMAZING games. Beating RGMe for the first time in his career and overcoming some terrible calls by the replacement refs in 2012 was incredible. And 2013 was great too beating AZ behind Cook going for 140 and 2 TDs plus Sam's second half comeback & GZ's late FG.

Yeah man. The excitement level is never higher, except before our next playoff game. Every team is 0-0 and we've been waiting for football for 7 months. Our first trip to STL was in the middle of the season vs SEA in 2011, but we decided in 2012 to try the home opener. Now we have our tradition and we love it.

Do it! The trip is worth every penny. Its a bit of an investment, but we always have the time of our lives. We stay at the Drury Inn, literally across the street from the dome. There's some nice restaurants downtown and the Gateway Arch is about 1/4 mile away. Also the Casino, across the street and underground from the dome is a nice place to catch a game and grab some food.

Really, I would have figured RRF.. Go figure... The internet is an amazing thing. I met Biggame a few years back on RRF. Been a better person since knowing him (as with many I've met). He's a good dude. Glad you cats had a great time. Crap, BG had a birthday this week no? Gotta wish him a belated one. Be cool 24/7.

I stood next to her and chatted at TC and didn't realize it. There was a group and she was setting up a shot by where they were pushing each other up the hill. I had the kid with me, looking for people, carrying stuff including a beer. Said bye and realised it was her. Doh.

Man, she missed out. Apparently Tre wasn't so encumbered.
