Not sure of brands but there are also split units that are fairly inexpensive and do both heating and cooling and are easy to install and don't take up a window.

I feel for you. It would be miserable in my house without some kind of cooling unit.

Planning on buying a dress style that’s really old (may even be 1700s), but other than that, I’m glad to be living in the modern day where I’m not a second-class citizen, haha!
