Standard league, 12 people - picked 12th (AGAIN!)

I actually liked how it turned out... lol one of my best friends is a Bill's fan in the league, and his team name is "God the Rams Blow" just to mess with me, so that explains my team name and photo

Nice job.
Cook is an easy late rd pick in TE mandatory leagues. You managed to get some solid RB's despite your draft position too.

must be nice, big run on RB's early... by the time i got to johnathan stewart barely anyone was left - although i am wishing i would have taking melvin gordon over stewart, but i think stewart is guaranteed to get carries and plays in a defensively inept division

oh god yea... so many rb's were gone.

I think have the closest thing to a balanced roster - lot of people are either strong at rb and weak at WR or visa versa

although i think i might drop mariota to get a better D - i don't like the Ravens @ broncos week 1

for the teams you guys listed, what is the set up? standard/ppr? 2WR /2 WB? or 3WR/2b (yahoo)? etc.

First time, in-person 10 team league for me last night. Random card choice got me 2nd choice, PPR. And yes I know about Devante Adams before Cobb, just a hunch and like taking chances. Gurley was gone in the 3rd round pick #10. :<( also need to grab a K too lol.

Quoting myself here...

I'm trying to learn from past mistakes. Rather than get a 2nd kicker and 2nd D, I figured I'd let a few weeks shake out and if a D jumps up, I can drop a player to grab them. That allowed me to take a few chances on Derek Carr and Michael Floyd and Shane Vereen. I also grabbed Romo because I think that RB by committee isn't going to be as successful as they want which means they're going to feed Dez and Terrence Williams more which means bigger numbers for Romo this year. Only reason I don't start Romo is because Atlanta is in the first year of the new D under Dan Quinn and we've seen how it takes time for a D to gel. And that Eagles O is...CLICKIN'...cluckin'...whatever...

@iced Good solid team. Homer much?:D That picture is extremely disturbing, btw.

@Mojo Ram That's a good team too. No big name receivers, but they should produce a decent amount every week. Rest of your team is solid.

@Dodgersrf Your RBs are stacked! Too bad Gurley and Foster will be out for the beginning of the season. Do you mean John Brown at receiver? Can't say I've ever seen a league the doesn't require a TE on your team. Nice team.

@Mackeyser On paper, I don't see how you won't get to the championship. Very impressive unit.

@raised_fisT That's going to be tough dropping someone. I'd drop Roddy White only because of his age for a kicker. You do you though, I tend to mess things up. Another great team.

@BatteringRambo Even without the miss on Cobb, your team will do excellent. Good thing kickers aren't as tough to find as skill players!

You guys are 10x better than those idiots in the draft simulators!

I'm in three fantasy football leagues, but - for the sanity of those on this forum - I'll only show my ROD Fully Inflated Team.

Team Name: Leuzers

TE - Rob Gronkowski (1/9)
WR - A.J. Green (2/16)
WR - T.Y. Hilton (3/33)
RB - Mark Ingram (4/40)
WR - Amari Cooper (5/57)

WR - Sammy Watkins (6/64)
WR - Larry Fitzgerald (7/81)

RB - Giovani Bernard (8/88)
QB - Phillip Rivers (9/105)
WR - DeVante Parker (10/112)
DEF - Arizona Cardinals (11/129)
QB - Carson Palmer (12/136)
RB - Isaiah Crowell (13/153)
K - Steven Hauschka (14/160)
TE - Charles Clay (15/177)

So that's my team. I usually try to get the best receivers available, which also means sacrificing a good to elite running back. Overall I'm fairly pleased with my team. If anything, I'll be a tough out every week.

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE THIS YEAR!

I tried that with WRs and they tend to be up and down whereas RBs tend to be more steady...

Nice job.
Waiting on a QB can sometimes be an effective strategy, allowing you to add better pieces at RB/WR.

Thought the photo was fitting to the team name, lol :ROFLMAO:

As to the "Homer picks" - they were all about value. There were hardly any starters on the board from other teams, so I went with what I could perceive as starter quality. The one difference about my team vs the rest of the others in my league is that I have the most starting players - whether it's rb or #1/#2 recievers.

To give you an idea

I'm pretty damn happy with my team outside of RB. I took some hopeful sleepers for trade bait down the road
