At 88 years Young Scully calling it quits! " Now Listening to the Dodger's Will never be the same!!

There are people described as a class act.
Vin is THE class act of broadcasting.
I own one Dodger jersey. A #1 with Scully on the back.
Growing up in central ca when I did I would listen to Mr Scully on a little hand held radio when I was drifting off to sleep at night.
I remember Dodger games on TV and listening to the Dodger radio feed to hear Vin.
So engrained as a part of my growing up. Vin Scully was part of California in that time, part of its blood. As much as the cabbage and broccoli farms, the beach the traffic and the cig alerts.
Long live Vin!!

Vin Scully and Chick Hearns are two of the most prominent voices of my childhood.

I will be forever indebted to their grace, wit, poetry, prose, joy, ire, elation, frustration and overall dedication to their craft.
